07 Who is he?

Noel's POV

"Mason is attracted to a girl. Is that possible? You can only get attracted to your mate, right" I said talking to Maddy on the phone.

"Was it her? Were you able to see her face?" She asked. I sighed and took a seat on the couch in my room.

"I wasn't able to. Like I tried controlling the wind to blow her hair but I wasn't able to"

"Like how?" She asked surprised. I'm surprised too. I can still feel my powers but why wasn't I able to use it on her then?

"I don't understand either".

"Well, you shouldn't worry too much about them. She will come out. She is his mate so if Mason is in trouble, she will definitely make herself known".

"Yea, sure. So are you planning to hurt him"

"Yes, I have a plan. You know that Mr Urlacher's birthday is in a week's time. We will carry out our plan there. Come over to my house when you are less busy so we can talk"

"Okay then. No problem. Lest I forget, you weren't in the company today"

"I just felt Like taking some rest at home. Hope I didn't cause too much problem with my absence?"

"Not really. I will come over later" I said, hanging up.

Maddy has never missed a day to come to work but she did today.

I can't wait to get him out of my way. I thought, smirking to myself. Should I give him a horrible death or a normal one?

Mason's POV

I drove my car speedily and packed it in the garage.

"Do you want to kill us?" Henry screamed. We both went out and we are back late at night. Henry is all wasted and he has been spatting nonsense.

I took my keys and got down making my way in.

"Wait for me! Mason, I'm gonna kill you" I turned back and looked at him. I don't think he will be able to walk. I went closer to him and carried him up making our way into the house.

"Leave me alone. Don't touch me". He said, trying to push my hands off.

"Just stop it now" I retaliated. We went up the stairs and I came across a maid.

"Is my sister back already?" I asked her.

"Yes, she is. She is in her room, probably asleep". I hummed a reply and walked towards my room. I opened the door and dropped him on the bed. God.. He has put on a lot of weight.

"You are mean. How can you drop me that way?" He whined, rolling on the bed. "It's so comfy". He said again.

I looked at him and sigh. So childish when drunk. I picked up my phone and made a call to his mom.

"Mason, is that you? Have been trying Henry's number but he isn't picking up. It's late already Mason". She said, panicking.

"He is with me. He is sleeping over ma'am. You don't have to worry".

"Sleeping over or drunk?" she asked. She knows her son too well, then.

"No, ma'am. He isn't drunk. He is sleeping over tonight. He is…"

"Haaa.. Mason, I feel like purging, oh am dying, the world is straight and I am straight" He cut in singing. What? When did his voice get better?

"Wait, is that not Henry's voice?". Fuck!

I disconnected the call and rushed over to him directing him to my bathroom. I lowered his head to the sink and encouraged him to take it all out. I pushed him over to the bed and laid him down, pulling the blanket on him.

I hate it when he gets drunk. More responsibility.

I walked over to the drawer and pulled out what we bought. I opened it and a purple dress was staring at me. I am giving it to Melissa. I want her to wear it on my dad's birthday. I don't know why am feeling so attracted to her. Have never felt attracted to a girl but she is different. I don't really know what she looks like. I feel like knowing more about her.

I closed it and put it back in the drawer.

"Bro! You are back". My cousin squealed coming in. We behave more Like siblings than cousins. She is my favorite cousin tho… I turned and ruffled her hair.

"I thought you were asleep". Her gaze diverted to Henry.

"He is drunk, isn't he? He is going to receive an earful from me tomorrow". I laughed out loud making him steer on his sleep, murmuring some words.

"What is he saying?" She asked. I shrugged and looked at him.

"Hermione". He said again. I raised my eyebrows and chuckled lightly.

"He is muttering my name in his sleep. Ahh..". She said and went out. " Good night". She screamed on her way out.

"Good night" I mutter in between my breaths.

I took off my clothes and got in the bathroom to take my shower. I got out and wore my robe, pulled out a chair and sat down. I picked up my music book and started composing a song. My dad just had to inform me to compose a song for his birthday so I have to sing on his birthday for him.

I hate to do that but he is my dad. I kept on composing the song till sleep took over me without informing me.

Jace's POV

I got inside the car with Melissa and Hailey while Dennis took the other car. I got in and my driver drove towards their school. I planned to drive them to school today.

"So, what are you talking about?" Melissa asked.

"There is this new guy in our class. He is so cute,every girl wants him but surprisingly he wants to be my friend. There are sometimes he feels strange and there are sometimes he doesn't". Hailey replied, resulting in Melissa chuckling.

"I'm sure it's because he is a newbie. So are you guys getting along? " I asked her.

"Yes, we are. We are closer now. He said he would like to give me a nickname. I hope he gives me a good one". She said grinning. I have never seen her so happy going to school. She doesn't really like going to school or attending class.

"Great then. Hope you aren't falling for him?"

"No, I am not. Dad, what are you saying?" Melissa laughed at her.

We arrived at the school and my driver packed the car waiting for them to get out.

"Bye, guys. I will come pick you up, okay.

"Don't break your promise today". Melissa said, loosening her hair. I sighed and looked at her through the mirror. Doesn't she know she is so pretty? I hope she regains her self confidence.

"Lissa, wait! That's him. Liam, that's Liam. The new guy". Hailey said, breaking into my thoughts. I looked out the window and saw him. Liam?

"He looks familiar". I said out aloud. Hailey turned to look at me with curiosity.

"Really".

"Just be careful around him. I don't feel good". Melissa said and got down.

"You should get down too". I said to her,

She got out of the car and waved at me. I smiled and waved at them. I glanced at the boy Liam one more time before my driver drove out of the compound.

"Boss, are you telling me you couldn't recognize him".

"Hun?" I raised my eyebrows up, confused. "He looks familiar but can't figure out where have met him"

"He is the boy we almost hit on our way back home. It has been a bit long though.."

"Ohh.. That boy". I said and realized that he was the one. No wonder he looks familiar but who is he? Why is he attending my daughter's school? Is it a coincidence?.

"I will advise you to look into him. I don't feel good with his presence". I nodded.

I picked up my phone and made a call to one of my guys telling him to look into him. I dropped the call and sighed. I hope there is nothing behind it.
