Chapter 55 she likes you alot
Anlan couldn't stop thinking as why Mei Xia wasn't at work today everything seemed to be boring and incomplete without her. Anlan sighed softly maybe she shouldn't have judge her way of living but she was only trying to help if she had known that such a petite thing would make her angry and annoyed maybe she shouldn't have said it at all.
Anlan sat alone in the corner trying not to get involved with anyone but just then someone walked up to her
"You look bored without Mei Xia being here"Fang Lou said and smiled warmly
"Do you know the reason she's not here"Anlan asked, Fang Lou was one of the waitress here and also had a free and kind spirit like Mei Xia unlike the others who felt like they were too big to relate with other people
"No I don't but it's unusual she has never had a day off out of work"Fang Lou replied and sighed
"Hmm"Anlan simply said
"Ever since she started working here she was so quiet and isolated herself from everyone she has never spoken to anyone and no one tried to approach her because the last time I did she totally ignored me.. but ever since you came here she changed completely and it seemed like you both were inseperable she has never been free with anyone like she is with you"Fang Lou said and smiled staring at Anlan
"She likes you alot and cares alot about you when you first started to work here all the men had an eye on you they were all ready to pay any amount just to have you for one night but the night you weren't at work Mei Xia made it clear to them that you just started working and needed to settle down and have experience before you could engage in such a thing but for the meantime she had to give her own body out for your own freedom... there was no one to that for us when we just started we had to give ourselves out"Fang Lou said and sighed softly her face turned dull
"Why can't you just stop?"Anlan asked
"We can't it's part of the rules of working here.. it seems like you don't know much about anything here"Fang Lou said and laughed
"Hmm all thanks to Mei Xia"Anlan said
"Well the manager wants some wine can you please take them to him and he has a visitor"Fang Lou said
"Okay.. thanks alot"Anlan said and smiled
"It's my pleasure you see I've always wanted to have the chance to hang out with you but Mei Xia is an overprotective hawk she warned us not to come close to you because she didn't want to get you corrupted"Fang Lou said and frowned
"Hmm"Anlan said and chuckled, she never knew that Mei Xia was doing all this for her
Anlan took the wine and went to the manager's office, she truly missed Mei Xia alot why did she have to say that yesterday. When Anlan opened the door she saw the manager making out with a young lady and Anlan was shocked to see who the lady was, Xu Yihuan . Anlan stared blankly at the both of them
"What are you doing here?"the manager asked coldly
"S-sorry sir I'm here to bring the wine you asked for"Anlan composed herself still staring at Xu Yihuan who was trying hard to hide her face.
Anlan dropped the wine and left the room immediately, now she knew how Cute Yihuan got to know about that information but it looked funny she never thought that Xu Yihuan could do such a thing just for money and still come to disgrace her in front of the whole acting like she was the best person,. Anlan went back to were she was staying trying to shove out the scene of what she had just seen out of her head
