Chapter 33 where's Aunt Leslie

Anlan was getting exhausted from the long walk and could not walk any longer but she couldn't stop either even Yao yao was exhausted also but she wished there was something she could do but there was no money with her at all do she decided to give her a piggy back ride 

"Mummy are you exhausted if you are you can drop me so we can walk together"Yao yao said

"No I'm not you're the one who went through so much stress last night so I have to do it"Anlan explained and smiled the memory of what had happened last night was still like a dream she never thought that someone she was still going to meet with Xie Genji , someone who was bent on destroying her

"Mum I want to ask something"Yao yao said and placed her head on Anlan's shoulder

"Hmm"Anlan replied exhausted

"Where's Aunt Leslie"Yaoyao asked and Anlan stopped walking"I mean I haven't received any gifts from her since you travelled last year"Yaoyao added Anlan was shocked she had been trying to forget the past and just move on living a simple life but she never knew that Yao yao was going to ask a question she was trying to avoid, tears dopped gradually but she fought them back and smiled forcibly

"She's so busy and occupied with work so she couldn't send gifts or even visit.. but still promised to send them once she's done with work"Anlan explained while they continued walking

"Mum are you alright it seems like you're crying"Yao yao asked sadly with a worried, Anlan smiled seeing her little cute face trying to look worried

"I'm okay I'm just exhausted that's all .. see we're almost close to home just a few more blocks further"Anlan said trying to hide her emotions from Yao yao

"Mum let's race home"Yao yao said as her little face lit up with excitement

"What aren't you tired at all?"Anlan asked

"I am but it will save more time and I've always wanted to race you home"Yao yao explained and Anlan dropped her down

"Are you ready?.. okay run"Anlan said and they both ran holding each other hands smiling

Yes juemo was in the large study room, he couldn't stop getting bothered by Anlan's sad face he had tried countless times to forget but it seemed impossible and this made him to be so annoyed, A part him still felt like he had see her somewhere but he couldn't recall... she had his savior once but he couldn't recall then Muchen walked in

"How did it go?"Ye juemo asked, relieved that at least something was going to distract him from thinking too much

"Sir we found out that the men that attacked the lady last night were Feng Quain's men" Muchen said and Ye juemo face grew cold with anger hearing the name

"How is their punishment going?"Ye juemo asked

"Second Master it's going well but.."Muchen paused in his words cause this one was going to make him more angry

"But what?"Ye juemo asked coldly

"One of them escaped" Muchen said and hid his face

"How can someone escape when the whole place is locked and we'll guided with special security codes"Ye juemo asked calmly but with a cold voice

"Second Master she bribed on of the men to sleep with him for one night and he lustfully fell into the trwp"Muchen said

"Kill him and feed his body to the ravens" Ye jhemo said coldly his eyes had gone dark and cold

"Yes sir"Muchen said and was about to leave

"Investigate who that lady last night is and why Feng Quain is after her"Ye juemo added and Muchen left wondering why Second Master cared or did she steal from him last night?

Han Jing couldn't bare to stay in and sit while her friend was out there missing, she remembered how Anlan had been a source of hope when everything seemed crashing down on her, she stood up quickly and walked up to the door just as she opened it she saw both Anlan and Yao yao breathing heavily at the door, Han screamed in surprise and hugged them tightly

"What happened how did you two escape.. where were you since last night? Where you tortured?"Han Jing asked

"No we weren't and it's quite a long story but we're exhausted let's come in first"Anlan said

"I'm so happy to be back safely"Yao yao exclaimed

"You were crying weren't you?"Anlan asked looking at Han Jing red eyes

"Why won't I ..I would have involved the police but something happened last night"Han Jing said and sat close to Anlan hugging her tight

"I thought that I won't see you again"Han Jing said and Anlan laughed

"Hey don't forget me"Yao yao said and hugged them both, that feeling of them loosing each other had disappeared and was replaced with heart warming moment
