the next day, the friends were woken up by a knock on the door. Everyone was still asleep, but debby was just coming out of the bathroom, so she went to see who was at the door. She opened the door and saw it was Officer tina.

debby: Officer tina, I didn't know, I will see you so soon .

Officer tina: I don't mean to bother you. Is Miss Sabrina here by any chance .

Debby: Yes, she is. What happened?

Officer tina: If you can call her, there's something I need to tell her about her family.

Debby: I pray it's nothing serious, I'll be right back.

She went back inside and woke the others and told them the cops were outside, and they followed her to the cops.

Sabrina: You call for me, Officer tina ,is there any problem? "she said it was about my family?

Officer tina: I'm sorry to inform you, but your family and their friends were all killed in a fire last night.

Sabrina: Wait, what do you mean? they died last night in a fire,I was there last night, and nothing happened ,so what do you mean.

Officer tina: I am so sorry, Sabrina.

Sabrina: No, no, this can't happen (she sobs and falls to the ground). Please tell me this is all a dream, please, please, someone anyone.

Officer tina: Once again, I'm sorry, but I need all of you to come down to the station for some questioning .

didi: we will be there soon enough.

Officer tina: OK then I'll leave.

Officer tina drove off. Sabrina was still on the ground crying, and didi went to her.

Didi: it's okay, my big baby. You can cry all you want. They were still your family after all.

Sabrina: (crying) I didn't know it would hurt like this, I loved them so much that it hurt .

Didi: It's okay. After you finish crying, I'll make pancakes for you (Sabrina nods).

Later that morning, they finished eating and bathing, and they were now ready to leave when Syria started making noises. Debby went to the room under the stairs where Syria and her sister were kept and opened it.

Debby: What the fuck do you want?

Syria: When are you planning on letting us go.

Debby: Letting you go, I never said that. You were not ready to tell me that my life was a joke to you ,so I'm nothing done joking with you and your fucking damm bitch sister . ( she slams the door)

malcolm: I'll text my brother to come and stay with them to avoid anything,let's go.

They all went down to the station and Sabrina was taken to the questioning room by officer max.

Sabrina: officer max ,right, I didn't think I would ever talk to you.

Officer max: Yes this my side of the job,so let's begin, can you tell me everything you know.

Sabrina: Sure,I went to my house with my friends and girlfriend but they didn't allow my friends to come in, so I went in with my girlfriend, saw my mother, I tried talking to her but she didn't want to hear it ,cause she didn't approve of me dating a girl, I went there to make peace with her but she chased us out and we left home right before the birthday song and had our own little party.

Officer max: Okay ,is there anything else you want to add.

Sabrina: No that's it.

Officer max: okay you may go and I am sorry for your lost.

Sabrina: Yeah thanks.

Officer max: I'm sorry, but you appear to look very calm.

Sabrina: Well, I was trained to be calm in situations like this .

Officer max: oh okay and oh I sure you will be glad.

Sabrina: Why will I be glad,my entire family is dead.

Officer max:But not all .

Sabrina: What!

Officer max: Before you came we received a call from the hospital, that your cousin, Carlos was still alive but in a bad state.

Sabrina: (angry) How is that good news ,I thought it was my mother or brother not some guy they told me was my cousin (calm) well it's Still good news, Carlos never dies, he was shot in the heart as a kid,didn't die but I how he survives this, but what caused the fire on the first place.

Officer max: We are still investigating, we will let you know.

Sabrina: Okay thank you, but what hospital, I'll like to visit him.

Officer max: Okay I'll sent it to you after I ask.

Sabrina: Thank you max.

Sabrina went out and one by one they all gave their statement and which was the same as the other, So after the questioning they were now free to go home.

Debby's house.

When they came back they saw luca there.

Didi: I can't believe that fucking bastard is still alive.

Luca: Who?

Sabrina: My bloody cousin, Carlos.

Luca: Do you know where he is ?

Sabrina: Not yet.

Luca: Well, if you do, text me, I have to go my baby's waiting for me.

Debby: I wanted to know, how old is he?

Luca: His 19, I guess.

Malcolm: 19,bro, his a child.

Luca: Not really.

Devi: What are you, like 30.

Luca: Yeah, so.

Nathan: Dude, don't tell anyone about this, you gon get arrested for sure (they laughed)

Debby: Wait, if he's 30,how old are you, mal?

Malcolm: I'm 25.

Debby: Wait, what,how did I not know this.

Malcolm: You didn't ask.

Debby: True,but you do know my age, right?

Malcolm: Yeah, 20,so are all your friends and their mates.

Luca: Now that we all know our ages, can I go now?

Debby: Sure.

Luca: Thank you (he left)

Debby: So I have a plan on what to do with Syria and her sister, but first, I'll give them food.

Debby went to Syria and her sister.

Debby: Who's hungry (she smiles).
