Andrea almost wished that she'd let Kyle drive that morning so she could rest her eyes on the way home. They had been staring at the screen for hours and still hadn't finished all of the new footage.

She'd wanted to be encouraging, since Kyle was so adamant they look at it themselves. She'd been just about ready to give up when he got a sudden second wind. Now her eyes and throat felt fatigued, and she was glad to be calling it a day!

Kyle's car was still parked where he'd left it that morning. As they got out, she was unsurprised that he made no effort to say goodnight or head in the other direction. She wasn't going to protest.

Certainly not before they ate.
