Innocent Bystander

Luna, the Goddess of Light, looks at the land with worries. It has been many years since the rising of demons. It also has been many years since her creation tried to fight them with all their might, but sadly, because of the death of his beloved brother Luka the God of Darkness, the demon king continues to absorb the wild energy that his brother's corpse releases. She tries to stop the leaking, but because she doesn't have a domain over darkness, she can't prevent the leaking. The only one that able to ends this madness is their mother, Gaia, the Goddess of the Earth and Mother of All Creation. Sadly, her mother is currently slumber inside her pocket dimension and will wake up for another thousand years. However, the people on the planet cannot wait for that long as the Demon continues to expand their territory and enslave the other.

Luna then looked at a book on her table before smiling at herself. It was a book she got from the traveler god that came to her domain a long time ago. It was an elderly man wearing black clothes and wearing white gloves. He also holds a cane with a beautiful jewel on top of it. She always reads the book every time she has free time and imagines herself as an ordinary human going to another universe. Sadly she can't go to the other world without her mother's permission because she put a barrier that prevents her from going to a different world.

Now she has a few options to go and save the land from the corruption. She can wait for her brother to reform, but it will take another 500 years before he can reform, and he needs another 100 years to gather his strength back before he can help her purify the land. She is still angry at him trying his new experiment without her mother monitoring him, look at him now, Dead!

"Stupid, brother. Hmph!"

The other option is to summon up a hero to go to this Gaea and give them the power to help them on their journey like in her books.

With a happy mood, Luna walked toward the well of the oracle that let her communicate to the Oracle and give them the spell that allowed them to summon the hero from the other world.

Esta Valsalor, the current holder of the title Oracle. Esta and the Pope are currently walking along the corridor of Ardleby Palace. Their destination is to go to the oracle room where they will get a mission from the Goddess of Light Luna, the creator of all living beings. This morning, everyone in the Holy Kingdom felt the pulse of divinity, indicating that their Goddess wanted to speak to them. However, the only one that can talk to their Goddess is the holder of the title Oracle.

The title of Oracle itself is the title that can be obtained if Goddess Luna chooses the user. So, many people can be an Oracle, that is why if a person has a title of Oracle in their awakening day, they will be sent to the capital city and be trained in the way of Oracle. If they are not taught from a young age, usually the holder of Oracle will become insane as the voice of God is not for untrained minds.

As they arrive, Esta and the pope immediately kneel in front of the statue of Luna, the Goddess of Light.

"O'Luna Goddess of Light, Our Creator. Bless us with your voice! Guide us with your blessing!"

After they finish their prayer, a pillar of light appears bathing them in the light of their Goddess. As the sun disappears, information suddenly appears inside their head is information about how to summon a hero that will save them from the demon invasion.

"Thank you for your guidance, My Goddess."

Esta looks at the pope and smiles brightly and says.

"Our Goddess has answered our prayer."

"Yes, Princess"

"Come, let informs my father of this good news."

Gabriel is currently inside a train reading one of his favorite books 'Hairy Pottery' while also listening to one of his favorite singers, Prano Jupiter. Right now, he is inside a train that goes to his campus. Gabriel is your ordinary college student that has an impossible dream that is to go to the other world, especially the fantasy world. Sadly, this said dream is unlikely to happen, and Gabriel himself knows about it and accepts it, but he still imagines himself going to the other world and having a slow life.

He snaps from his thoughts when a bright light appears underneath his feet. The rest of the passengers also see the light and try to pull him out from the center of the glowing circle, but to the other surprise, they cannot move him from the light as the circle shines more brightly than before and consumes him.

A few seconds later, he heard many people talking to each other. He opens his eyes and sees many older men are wearing a white robe circling them, and there is also a knight holding their sword.

"Stand down."

He looked at a beautiful woman walking toward him after ordering the men to stand down.

"O Heroes, Please help our world from the destruction."

He looked at the young woman in front of him.

'Heroes?'

He looks around him and sees there are another five people inside the room. He knows that they are not the passengers inside the train because he remembers that the one that was using the train earlier is a middle-aged woman and man.

"My name is Esta Valsalor, the princess of the Holy Kingdom. We summon you O'mighty heroes to help us defeat the Demon Lord that is terrorizing the land."

"Where are we?"

A blond man walked in front of him, looking at the princess in the eyes before asking her the question.

"You are in the Gaea in the continent of Lunar where the Humans live. We are currently in the capital city of the Holy Kingdom. We, The Holy Kingdom, is a natural kingdom that only sole purpose is to communicate with the Goddess of Light and ask for her Guidance."

"I see."

"Yes, Also, if it was not a problem, would you come with me to the meeting room that we already prepared? We can discuss this topic in there."

"Very well."

Without asking for our opinion, the blonde young man decides that they should follow the princess. Gabriel looks at the other people still inside the magic circle and sees they choose to follow the princess to the meeting room.

On the way to the meeting room, Gabriel looks around the castle and feeds himself in the architecture of medieval fantasy castles. The entire palace is like the Bogwarts from Hairy Pottery, one of his favorites besides the Lady of Bracelet and Angry Gaming.

After they walk for a few seconds, they arrive in front of a massive door, and as the guard opens it, Gabriel can see a large table and chair surrounding it. He looks at an older man sitting down on the chair at the end of the table as the man gets up and says.

"Welcome, My name is Richard III Valsafor. The current king of the Holy Kingdom. Please sit down."

We slowly sat down on the chair that was already prepared.

"Before we begin, please let the pope check the status of the heroes."

He looked to the side as another older man wearing a white robe with a red cross in the middle of the robe placed down an orb in front of them.

"The reason for this, because we intended to summon five heroes, not six. We already consulted this to our Goddess, and she said that we use too much mana in our summoning. We are so sorry about this accident and will send you back after ten years because we exhausted the Leyline under the castle. Now, please process the ritual."

Gabriel looks at the pope who begins to pray to his Goddess, and suddenly, the orb shines brightly for a few seconds before disappearing.

"Please touch the Orb one by one. It will show the individual Level, Title, and Skill."

The blonde young man touches the orb first, and suddenly, a blue panel appears in front of him.

By the pattern of it, Gabriel knows that he will be the innocent bystander, not the young man sitting next to him. The one that sits next to him has a massive body. Not muscular or even fat but rather a thick body. The young man cut his hair short and wore a white plain shirt.

Gabriel sighs a little as the pope looks at him in pity and sadness. He nodded at the pope before placing his hand on the orb, and another panel appeared in front of him.
