"It had been two days, my lord. The knights had checked the whole city but they could not find the lady."
Tyrone stared at the map with blazing eyes as if he would burn it.
They have checked the whole capital but they were still not able to find any news about Cassandra.
"Have you checked the borders?"
"We have shown her portrait at every border. We have contacted all those carriage owners who had traveled in these two days. No one had seen the lady." The knight was baffled too.
As if she never existed. She had disappeared like before. If he did not know any better, he would have thought that woman was a demon.
"Then she should be here. Look carefully." They stared at him. Everyone wanted to refuse but no one dared to speak.
In the end they bowed their heads and left. But they knew that it was a waste of time, so they only searched for her around for a while before taking a rest.
