Is it recap time now?
(I'm gonna say yes. Let us review.)
We've officially been here for about 2 months. Give or take.
(After the first week time got flexible.)
Those first few days were a travesty! All in all worth it.
(Erina's doing better.)
More obedient thanks to you.
(I still haven't seen this Red Rain once up close, but every time it happens we have to wait for Fenrir Personnel to wash the streets and helipad of the stuff.)
The Black Plague patients don't seem to be doing better from what I've been hearing. Unless better is just not being dead.
(It might be, the fatality rate was higher before we got here.)
No cure, so I guess not being dead is a plus. Then there's Blood or whatever they're called.
(I still remember what that power felt like. Mr.HQ doesn't dare do that again though.)
Sandwich girl seems to have a competitive streak, what's the score by the way?
(She's the only one who cares about the score, I just wanted to let you go nuts on fire aragami that day.)
Appreciated. Also 45-21. Moving on, the Beanie kid sure likes to follow you around.
(Tell me about it. Like I don't already have enough proteges.)
It's turning into a real Bootcamp. Also is it me or that French Maid in Training is REALLY not taking your presence well. I mean even more than usual.
(Is it safe to say, she wants to kill me on site?)
She keeps one hand on at least one handgun at all times now. She certainly doesn't want you in the Lounge, why?
(Because of the Cappybera.)
The furry thing? Whatever, she's crazy and a tightass. She's out for blood so watch your back!
(At least she's the only one. I never could have expected this.)
At this point in time, Sano stood on one of his blocks watching his "trainees".
At this point, Erina had advanced to being able to bench press almost 900lbs, without a struggle.
Kanon while struggling not to overdo it, often needed Sano to tend to her muscles, much to her Captains chagrin. It was a skittish repetition, but she finally didn't need constant reminders of when and where to stop. On one occasion she did 7 laps around the building without Sanos knowing and forced her to sit out for one day, so he could take on her daily work.
Stern as he appeared, he was impressed that day.
Ideally, that wouldn't happen again thanks to the newest member of the "Boot Camp",
Emil Von Strasbourg
(Such a dazzling fellow. Kota's description of the boy was spot on.)
The blonde showed up one day, said his thanks to Sano for saving Erina, and called him the "Sir Seeker of Redemption, Black Knight" or close enough to it. Then he went off about joining hands with you to Re-Induct thou into society.
(Pledged on his honor he would see me free and all that. Gonna be hard to tell the poor boy I've got 5 life sentences.)
How long has it been since he's joined?
(2 weeks officially, before that I just had him keep an eye on Kane to make sure she doesn't go over the lap limit I tell her.)
She's survived though and I think she's ready to move to the next step.
(Maybe.)
Is it me though or that little runt hates blondies' guts.
(It sure ain't admiration.)
Boy tries too hard, just makes her angrier.
(Still, he makes a good watch dog at least.)
Why'd you let him join them anyway?
(So he can upgrade from watchdog to guard dog. Idiot can take a hit.)
I'll give ya that, he can take a decent amount. He can't keep up with the girls right now.
(Not with the way they've improved.)
So pinky is ready?
(She does have a Blood Power now. She and Erina both.)
That red glow from her gun. A Blood Bullet was it?
(Erina almost caught me with my pants down.)
Don't say almost, she just earned the right amount of effort.
(Too bad all I have to offer her is physical training, this was for Kane after all.)
Her wish is your command.
(Yeah...maybe we should do it. Get it over with.)
You know that was a joke right?
(...)
Right...we'll just end the recap for today. Almost lunchtime. Best to hurry in before that dreadful girl gets a whiff of you. Maybe I'll try that little girl's cooking myself. Provided that red-head finally lets me in.
(I"ll ask.)
I swear if it wasn't for lack of curiosity I'd sneak in during business hours.
(If only you could ask her yourself.)
Yeah, if only...
2 months ago in Sakaki's office
Dr. Sakaki placed a disk on his desk and pushed it to the edge.
"Here you are, all the files given to me on Inmate 1103. I should remind you I share this information because every resident of the Den has the right to possible risks that are housed within. I'm not actually allowed to share this information with anyone. So let's not let this get into unsavory hands, lest we all go into a cell." Sakaki said with a snicker.
"We understand Doctor." Julius said. Ciel stood at his side staring at the desk. He nodded to her and she reached it for posthaste.
"One last thing." Sakaki suddenly put his hand over the disk.
"Problem?" Julius asked with a furrowed brow.
"Think on this, to interact with the inmate and slowly get to know them. Seeing first hand their actions, getting to know them. Should things work out, they eventually tell you the truth themselves, as a result of mutual trust. Is this not a possibility?" Sakaki questioned with his trademark smile.
Julius and Ciel were taken aback by the doctor's query.
"Food for thought." Sakaki said as he removed his hand over the disk.
Ciel raised a brow, letting her hand hover over the disk. She looked to her Captain to see Julius held his chin in thought, thinking on the doctor's words.
"Ciel. You go ahead, I'll leave it up to you." Julius said, making her halt.
"Captain!?" she said, as Julius exited the office unaware of Sakaki's smirk.
"I guess that settles that. Please use my console to read it, any other terminal will alert the high-ranking authorities at HQ and we don't want that." Sakaki said happily as he left the office.
So quickly in fact Ciel had no time to react. She looked back forth between the door, the disk, and the desk.
With a disheartening sigh, she went to the desk and inserted the disk into the slot Sakaki left open for her. As Ciel sat a holo screen went up and she started moving the mouse.
Inmate 1103
Time of Incarceration 2064
"He's been in prison for 10 years, no wait eleven. " Ciel clicked up.
Inmate after being found guilty was sentenced to up 5 Lives. After sentencing Inmate 1103 was sent to Fenrir Supermax Penitentiary F5040290.
*Note: If the name of the Prison is not redacted delete this file immediately after reading. As with accordance with Fenrir data and discretion policy.
Ciel pursed her lips, wondering if she should chastise herself for blatantly breaking the law herself with Dr.Sakaki. She scrolled further down remembering why she was doing this.
"What did you go to prison for?" Ciel thought aloud.
Charges of Inmate 1103
Attempted Murder 1 count
Assault with intent to kill 1 count
"Aren't they the same thing? Wait, WHAT!?" Ciel said, slamming her hands on the desk.
Murder in the first degree of Fenrir Personnel. 7 counts for 7 Officers.
1 Count for 1 God-Eater.
