INKED TO HIS BLOOD

"I didn't plan any of these. It was you who chose this on your own." She spoke as her heeled shoe landed on the documents which were scattered on the glassed floor. "You were tricking me into this. You are sick and blinded by these what so ever feelings that you have." He was losing his patience with her as days passed by. Who knew the multi millionaire Kim Jung-won who runs one of the leading software company in South Korea would have to face a hustle in his life? His empire started to shatter when she stepped her foot in her home land and her only aim was to crash his company into fine dust. "Sierra, are you not going a bit far?" Her mother asked while packing the luggage as she was asked to. "You still love him, don't you?" Sierra's angry eyes penetrated her mother who immediately went silent. "Kim Jung-won, I am coming to show you what you made me into." She grinned before locking her apartment.

"Arrange a meeting in ten minutes. I need the leader of every department to be there with the report." Sierra said as she walked to her office room before throwing the bag to the table.

"Miss. Harper, do you need anything else?" Andrea asked as she placed a couple of files on the table.

The office room was pretty big and had all the amenities she has requested for. It has been only three years since she shifted to New York after her father was thrown to prison for some debts. It was on her to build back the entire company and she successfully did it in the span of three years.

"Call the NYPD and ask them to send in a senior official immediately."

"We already informed the NYPD and they promised to send in the chief police as early as possible."

"I am not really in a mood for this but is there any call from Korea?"

Andrea nodded her head as a no and that was enough to throw Sierra to the end of the world. She knew that the starting of this mess would be from Korea but nothing can be confirmed without evidence. Sierra took out her phone and went to her social networking site but even that was not working properly.

"Is there anyone here who has another network? I need to use my socials and send some mails."

"I can arrange it." Andrea rushed out of the room to bring in the router.

It was literally taking her to the flashbacks which she never really wanted to cross paths with. It was all in the past, it ended three years ago along with her father's prison life but those memories still haunted her occasionally. Why was it so hard to leave behind the life which was hurting her?

Sierra pulled her hair down and took off the bun which held it tight, giving her some freedom. Her honey hair which fell loose over her shoulders had light curls to it and the sunlight which passed through the glass window added to the beauty. Sierra was pretty, really pretty to be doing such a business but family comes first and she had to choose it above her own interests.

She opened her laptop and searched the documents which she has prepared few days ago for the upcoming meeting. It was a big deal for company as well as to her own good will so she was well prepared. She didn't want to lose the deal no matter what because it was for this one specific deal that she has been working all along.

"Miss. Harper, the meeting is about to begin." Andrea informed as she walked in with a wifi router.

"Okay, get these files and follow me. Make sure no one calls me in between the meeting for anything unless it is the information about the culprit." Sierra never talked much but whatever she talked made them loose shits.

"Okay, ma'am." Andrea spoke as she walked behind the lady to the meeting room.

"So, we have come to the conclusion, right?" Sierra asked as she watched the presentation done by Jane and Andrea.

"Yes, Miss. Harper."

"I will finish it off with my thoughts on the topic. Make sure to keep your works up to it and hand me the report in a week."

The staffs nodded their head in agreement as they took out their note pad to take the notes. Sierra doesn't allow them to take in the notes on their digital platforms as they may get distracted. Sierra walked to the screen and opened a tab which showed the last year statistics.

"I am sure everyone here knows how the company was doing three years ago and how much it has grown in this short span. It was not an easy and I would like to thank everyone of you for that."

"The graph here shows the progress and it is incredible till now but there are some issues that I am facing externally so you need to keep a back up plan. Keep another networking company in our back plan always."

"Miss. Harper, is this a serious situation that we have to anticipate again?" Jane asked not knowing why Sierra was being too natural about it.

"This is not your fault. Try to distribute lower frequency signals and change the band width immediately. It is better to send lower data frequency rather than stopping it. Contact our partnership company now and ask for help."

The meeting was soon dispersed as she decided to make a call to her friend, who owns another networking company but that was not as popular as hers. She knew that he would be able to solve the issue in a jiffy. She dialed his number and put the call on speaker as she leaned back to her high chair rest.

"William, I hope you heard our issue. We need immediate back up and all I could run for help is you."

"I heard the news but do you that my network would be able to compensate? I mean, my company is still running behind in frequency." He stated and Sierra already knew it would be that case.

"I would like to have a back up for some hours. We are working on it and will get another spectrum launched by evening."

"Is it him?" William asked as he already knew the answer even if she wouldn't confirm.

"Hmm, he wouldn't let me win easily. Never mind, I have contacted the NYPD and they would see to it. So, send the networking details to my IT section so that we can carry on." She disconnected the phone before waiting for an answer as she knew, he would be doing what she asked.

"I will not spare you for this." Sierra slammed her fist on the glass table causing the pen holders and files to fall down in the impact.
