4. Lucifer Mors
"Oh poor Michael, even at his death he.. you know what Lucifer, i hate this author so much he made the protagonist so miserable but you know i kind of like this too"
A blonde haired young man spoke as he looked at his mobile phone reading his favourite novel.
"Lucifer? Lucifer"
"Oh oh yes Ian were you saying something?"
"I was talking about this novel 'Inheritors' well forget about me, what happened to you? What's this?"
Ian took the letter out of the hands of black haired teenager named Lucifer.
"Dear Lucifer Mors,
Congratulations! It is with great pleasure that I offer you admission to the Ambford University Class of 2028.
Your thoughtful application and remarkable accomplishments convinced us.."
"OMG! You got admission in Ambford University "
"Keep it down"
Ian exclaimed reading the letter which he took from Lucifer.
"That's so awesome dude, when? how? You didn't tell me that you applied for Ambford"
"Well i didn't apply for it, it's just my theory which got published in an international science magazine attracted the attention from all over the world and some things happen"
"Some things? this is the fucking letter of acceptance of Ambford University, best university for almost all subjects and .."
"Ok ok calm down"
"So when are you leaving for Zone S"
"I had already booked a flight, it is next Monday"
"You didn't even bother to tell me"
"I was going to"
"When?"
"In a day or two, oh wait a second"
'Bzzzz'
Lucifer's phone began to vibrate in his pockets, he ignored Ian's nagging and checked on it.
'Unknown Number'
"Hello?"
"Hello Lucifer?"
Hearing the voice of the woman from the other end of the phone Lucifer stopped on his tracks and his face began to contort.
"Lucifer have you thoug.."
Without waiting for the person to complete his sentence Lucifer hung up the phone.
"Lucifer are you fine?"
"Yes everything is fine let's leave"
Ian looked at Lucifer's contorted face and asked in worry.
"Lucif"
"Everything is alright"
"Sigh ok, it was her again?"
Ian had already guessed whose phone it was and asked Lucifer who just nodded and began to walk past him.
"Again?"
"Yes for the past few days she keeps calling me to ask for money to save her stepson's life"
"This"
"Yeah i know, how could she? she left my dad after tha"
"Lucifer sigh you should go home, i think it's better to change your number or else she will keep annoying you"
"Hmm okay"
On their way back home, Ian drove his luxurious sports car and kept talking about the girls of Zone S to try to cheer Lucifer's mood.
They both live in the high rise apartment building and soon reach their building.
"Hey mom has invited you for dinner tonight, remember to come"
"Ok"
Waving Ian bye, I waited for the elevator to reach my floor which was two floors above Ian's while checking on the comments on the book I wrote in my free time which is very popular now 'Inheritors'.
The door of the elevator opened and I walked out of the elevator and started to walk towards my apartment door while looking at the phone.
"What was that?"
While walking just now I felt like passing a slimy wall and looked up in front of me.
"huh?"
I looked around and didn't find anything unusual in my surroundings and noticed everything was just as it was before and nothing has changed, i just shrugged off thinking that i imagined something and threw my bag on the sofa while drinking water.
I switched on the large television and the news channels started.
