Douluo: Rise of the Strongest

Hey there! Let me tell you about this fascinating guy named Qin Feng. They call him the Haotian Douluo, and he wields a massive two-meter Tiangang hammer. You wouldn't believe it, but that hammer used to be just a useless one until it mutated into something powerful! Now, it can kill two enemies in one swing and even chase their souls. Can you imagine that? After leaving Holy Soul Village, Qin Feng went on an incredible journey. He took down Zhao Wuji and completely crushed Liu Erlong in just ten years! That's pretty impressive, right? But here's the thing – Qin Feng's success attracted some trouble. He ended up making an enemy out of the sleeping Devil Dragon. The highest SoulHall in Douluo Continent decided to attack him. Qin Feng couldn't hide anymore, so he unleashed his second Martial soul, which had been sealed away for ten years. That move shook the world! To avoid facing the ultimate consequences, SoulHall tried to intervene. They sent Qian Renxue to deal with the situation. Unfortunately for them, that turned out to be a big mistake. Bibi dong never expected that her decision would backfire, and it actually ended up causing trouble for SoulHall and benefiting someone else! Quite the rollercoaster, right? Qin Feng's story is full of action and excitement. You can't help but wonder what will happen next. It's amazing how one person's journey can have such an impact on the world around them. Makes you think, doesn't it? DISCLAMER : I do not own this fan fiction as well as Douluo Dalu novel as it belong to its respective author.

Chapter 12

"Like death is coming, Xiaowu instinctively wants to avoid, but her body seems to be out of her control. She fought back!"

With determination in her heart, Xiaowu went horizontal, employing a technique called 'Soft Bones' to clamp Qin Feng's waist, striving to attack him with the idea of landing a critical blow despite being at a disadvantage.

"What!" But when Xiaowu managed to grab Qin Feng and attempted to toss him, Qin Feng effortlessly countered, sending Xiaowu flying and crashing into the wall.

Wang Sheng and the others took a sharp breath, shocked by Xiaowu's prowess. "I lost, I lost," Qin Feng acknowledged, patting the dust off his clothes while addressing the dazed Xiaowu. He then winked at Tang San, seemingly acknowledging his true intentions.

Tang San's eyes flickered as he observed Qin Feng closely. It was evident that there was more to Brother Feng  than seen by the eye. Why had he intentionally let Xiaowu defeat him? Tang San was baffled by Qin Feng's actions.

"What do you mean?!" No one noticed Tang San's odd behavior as Xiaowu glared fiercely at Qin Feng. She wasn't fooled by his act.

"Nothing, I just accidentally lost," Qin Feng replied, feigning regret. He then wandered leisurely around the room, commenting casually about the beds.

Wang Sheng approached him, offering a bedding, "Brother Feng, this is my new bedding. If you'd like, I can share it with you."

It made sense, as Wang Sheng had been at Notting College for many years and had experienced the harsh life of a working student. After witnessing Qin Feng's immense power during the skirmish, he was eager to show some goodwill.

Surprisingly, the college hadn't admitted working students in years, and now three exceptional individuals had been admitted. They had the potential to change the status quo for working students, who had often been bullied by their noble peers.

"Alright, since you're so kind, I won't refuse. But consider it a loan, and I'll pay you back when I have the means," Qin Feng accepted, choosing the corner nearest the door with a large pillar blocking Tang San and Xiaowu's double bed. He quipped, "Seeing is believing."

Tang San quickly approached Qin Feng with two sets of Notting College uniforms, "Brother Feng, these are the college uniforms we just received."

Notting College mandated school uniforms for its students, and the attire appeared to be of high quality.

"They feel quite nice," Qin Feng acknowledged, feeling the soft texture of the silk fabric. Such fine clothing was typically reserved for students.

Tang San nodded in agreement, visibly pleased. This was the best clothing he'd worn since arriving on the Douluo Continent.

As the sun began to set, its warm orange rays illuminated Qin Feng's bed, creating a picturesque scene. Despite the dormitory's remote location, they had a clear view of Notting College through the window.

"Gurgule..." Wang Sheng's stomach growled, signaling that it was dinner time.

"Xiao san, Little Sister, Feng Brother, shall we go to dinner together?" Wang Sheng suggested with a friendly smile.

Tang San, looking somewhat dejected, replied, "Eating...but we don't have money..."

They had come from Grandpa Jack's place with little to their name, as their father had spent the family's resources on alcohol.

"No worries, I can treat you," Wang Sheng reassured them. Having spent several years at Notting College, he could afford to treat a few friends to dinner.

Tang San looked to Qin Feng for his opinion, seeking his approval.

"Why should someone go hungry when there's food? You go ahead; I'll join you shortly," Qin Feng replied. He had encountered some difficulty dressing himself, finding the clothes surprisingly complicated to put on.

"Brother Feng, we'll wait for you," Tang San and Wang Sheng both assured him, with Xiaowu nodding in agreement.

When dinner plans were mentioned, Xiaowu's previous resentment toward Qin Feng quickly dissipated.

"You go ahead; I know the way to the cafeteria," Qin Feng said, squeezing his eyebrows in an unusual manner as he addressed Tang San and Wang Sheng.

Xiaowu and Wang Sheng wore puzzled expressions, unable to fathom Qin Feng's intentions. Only Tang San, with an awkward smile, nodded and said, "Then let's go ahead. Brother Feng, remember to join us later."

With that, Tang San led Xiaowu towards the cafeteria. It was clear that as a time traveler, Qin Feng's matured thinking made him more adept at navigating social situations.

Qin Feng, now alone, finally felt at ease. With Xiaowu gone, he could comfortably change into his school uniform. Despite their young age, he didn't want to undress in front of a little girl, opting to change in the bedroom instead.

It took him only a minute to don the uniform, and once he was dressed, he locked the bedroom door behind him before heading leisurely towards the cafeteria.

Meanwhile, Tang San and the others had already arrived outside the cafeteria. It was a grand and luxurious building, far surpassing the residences of ordinary wealthy individuals. The Notting Junior Soul Master Academy truly stood as a beacon of excellence in Notting City.

"Wow, is this where we eat?" Xiao Wu marveled, her curiosity akin to that of a child.

Though Tang San was trying to hide his emotions, his heart couldn't help but race at the sight of the opulent cafeteria. If the junior soul teacher college's dining area was this lavish, he couldn't help but wonder about the intermediate and advanced colleges.

However, as they stepped into the cafeteria's entrance, they were met with discordant voices. Several students, who resembled aristocratic youths, taunted them from the second floor.

"Oh, look, it's Wang Sheng's group of paupers," one of the aristocratic students jeered, drawing attention to Tang San and his companions.
