Chapter 10: Hitting people with Tiangang hammers

"It's really a good little dog, so obedient," Qin Feng remarked as he looked at the approaching male student with a smug grin.

As an Earth's traveller , Qin Feng didn't find these inexperienced youngsters much of a challenge.

"Since you're so eager to meet your maker, don't blame me!" the male student retorted, his eyes narrowing with hostility. He swiftly leaped into the air.

"Ah, an agile flying martial spirit?" Qin Feng teased, unperturbed.

Just as the male student was taken aback, darkness enveloped the bright sky above him, casting a shadow over him. It was a massive black sledgehammer.

With the infusion of soul power, the hammer struck the male student forcefully.

"Even if you have a flying beast martial spirit, you should know how to stay grounded!" Qin Feng quipped.

Qin Feng lifted the hammer and began a vigorous beating, as if he were kneading dough.

After a sound thrashing, Qin Feng felt considerably relieved. It appeared that beating people up was a more effective way to soothe his soul after enduring the system's torment.

Leaving the male student lying like a beaten dog, Qin Feng stepped on him and made a sudden move.

The emaciated male student was kicked so hard that he nearly passed out from the abdominal pain when he collided with the burly boy nearby.

"You got a beating because you were rude. The final kick was just a taste of your own medicine. I've always held a grudge against bully's" Qin Feng declared as he looked at the half-conscious male student. He casually brushed his hands against each other, blew a small whistle, and prepared to make a leisurely exit.

"Stop! Do you think you can just leave after causing a ruckus?" sneered the burly boy.

"Why are you calling me grandpa? Haven't you had enough of a beating?" Qin Feng retorted, a mischievous grin curling his lips.

"What an arrogant kid! What's your name, and which family do you belong to?" The burly teenager might look slow-witted, but he was no fool. He understood that despite being a soul warrior at the tenth level, he was preparing to obtain a soul ring. By all accounts, he should be at the top of the pecking order among soul warriors. Yet, he had just been thrashed mercilessly by a child.

Notting City was a border city of the Tiandou Empire, where their were numerous powerful and various influential families held. The burly teenager knew better to not provoke any of them.

"Are you deaf or something? I just told you. I'm Qin Feng, but you can call me Grandpa !" Qin Feng raised his thumb, pointing at himself with an air of arrogance.

"Oh, you shine like the sun when given a bit of spotlight. Today, if you can outshine everyone, I'll call you Ancestor!" Qin Feng continued his cheeky banter, further infuriating the burly boy. His face darkened as he prepared to summon his martial spirit.

A brilliant white light began to emanate from the side of the burly boy. In Notting City, no one had ever dared to address him in such a disrespectful manner. Moreover, the person who did so was just a seven-year-old kid in tattered clothing.

As Qin Feng assessed the boy's shabby attire, he couldn't help but think that this youngster wasn't from a prominent family; at best, he was like a peasant rooster with a few colorful feathers from a humble background.

"The boss is actually revealing his soul ring!" another teenager exclaimed, about to be pulled aside by the male student who had previously received a beating.

In all of Notting College, their boss was considered a formidable character. He was known for his incredible physical strength; he could even uproot trees without relying on soul power. Now, with his soul ring revealed, he could probably shatter boulders. The onlookers hurriedly retreated to a safe distance, preferring to watch from afar. This kid had it coming; whoever dared to cross their boss would get what they deserved.

"Grandpa is a bit too much for you!" Qin Feng quipped, shrugging his shoulders. Then, he waved his hand, and the hammer suddenly struck the burly boy's face without warning.

The impact was so forceful that it sent the teenager flying back several meters.

"You dare to attack me!" the burly boy exclaimed, caught off guard by Qin Feng's audacity. He retaliated swiftly, summoning his martial spirit in the nick of time. Had he been struck by that hammer unprepared, he might have been incapacitated instantly.

"You find it tough? Now do you know how these craters were formed here?" Qin Feng asked with a wicked grin, sending a chill down anyone's spine who saw his expression.

He didn't look like a six or seven-year-old child at all; he appeared more like a seasoned street-smart adult.

"Even though I don't know how these craters were formed, I'm certain they weren't created by your hammer. Do you really think you can intimidate me with your cheap tricks?" the burly boy retorted, his tone icy. He manifested a scarlet martial spirit.

It was a blood wolf, possessing remarkable speed and lethal power. Qin Feng had to dodge repeatedly to avoid its attacks. Against such a level of assault, not even the Cloak Hammer was effective.

"Boss, give him a beating! Show this kid who's boss!" one of the nearby teenagers cheered on, excited by the prospect of a good fight.

"Kid, if you have the guts, don't dodge," burly boy taunted.

Strengthened by the system, Qin Feng's body had doubled in strength and was several times faster. He could perfectly evade each of the burly boy's attacks, leaving his adversary fuming with anger.

"Don't dodge? If I didn't dodge, I'm afraid you'll be begging on your knees, clinging to my thigh, and sobbing while calling me 'Grandpa'!" Qin Feng taunted further, standing a few tens of meters away from the teenager with a mocking smile on his face.

He maintained a confident and playful demeanor, never once showing fear.

"Oh, boy are you going to use to make the boss kneel and beg with your mouth?" sneered the chubby teenager from a distance.

"Let me show you!" Qin Feng declared. His original black-nailed hammer was dropped, and a black-gold-and-white-gold hammer appeared in his hand. Instantly, he felt surging power coursing through his entire body.

''Tian Gang Hammer!" Qin Feng roared. Every time he summoned the two Tian Gang hammers, he felt his blood boil with excitement.

"Alright! I'll teach you a lesson then!" the burly boy responded, preparing to launch his attack.

But suddenly, he found himself immobilized, an overwhelmingly terrifying force locking him in place. No matter how hard he struggled, he couldn't budge an inch. Then, a colossal and violent pressure bore down on him.

The burly boy writhed and fought to break free, but it was all in vain. At that moment, he felt a crushing despair. If that hammer were to connect, he'd be dead for sure.

"Boom!" The deafening sound reverberated through the area as the heavy hammer struck. The violent shockwave turned into a powerful hurricane, reducing the burly boy's clothes to tatters.

"Gulp..." The boy's martial spirit slowly dissipated, and he swallowed hard, almost having wet himself out of sheer fright. The hammer lay nearby, and he knew that if it had struck him, he might have become a bloody pulp.

The teenager couldn't help but wonder whether Qin Feng had concealed his identity or if he had a mysterious background. The idea of an ordinary peasant kid in ragged clothing driving a luxury car and spending lavish sums of money was simply inconceivable. Either this country bumpkin was putting on an act or there was a terrifying power lurking behind him.

As they watched their boss, who had been terrified into silence, the two younger boys in the distance now looked at Qin Feng in a new light. They couldn't help but wonder if this guy was really just six years old.

In eerie silence, Qin Feng began to advance slowly towards the burly boy, each step heavy with menace.
