"I think that's the fortress the letter was talking about." I say opening the letter I picked off a dead soldier's body. "It would be easier to read if it wasn't covered in fucking blood. Next time just use some darkness magic." "Shut. We're near the entrance, I don't want any soldier's freaking out because of a talking pendant." I say before coming out of the forest and raising my hands to alert the guards that i'm not a threat. I then cough before activating a technique called 'World Tongue' to speak Chinese.

"I have come here for official business, I am an envoy for a force who wishes to talk to your emperor!" I yell so the Guards can hear me from the top of the wall. The guards start at each other before the gate open and a man comes out. "Greetings. I am one of the emperors advisors stationed here incase such a thing happened. I welcome you to the town of Xinzhuang, home of Emperor Liu Bei." The said before bowing and asking me to follow him.

We then arrive at an extravagant palace with the beautiful encaustic roofing and glazed floor tiles, along with the calming sound of the old mans wooden sandals clacking against the floors. "We are here sir." He said before bowing once again and leaving me to go in. I slide open the wooden door and walk into the room.

"Ah, welcome my friend. I am saddened about the sorry state of this room but i'm sure you can forgive me with all this war going on nowadays." Says a man in a red Hanfu, with a black jacket underneath. "You are fine.... I was going to finish my sentence but I am struggling to find a way to address you without sounding rude." I say while sitting across the table from him. "Oh you may address me however you see fit, I would prefer you just call me by my name."

"I'll just address you as sir than. Now I am sure you know why i'm here?" I say picking up the drink he pored for me. "Yes I know why you are here. An envoy for an army to the North I think it was."

"You are correct, but also incorrect. I am and envoy, but the army is not in the North, it is in fact inside of your walls." I say taking a sip from my cup. "Oh? Now how is that, I don't recall anybody except you from coming inside my wonderful town today." "582."

"Excuse me?" I then set down my cup and stare him in the eyes. "A group of 582 soldiers on their way to the South tragically died on my way here. And one of the soldiers of the said army had a note that looks eerily similar to this one no?" I said before taking the note I used to get here out of my pocket and threw it on the table. "Do mind the blood though. It is still fresh, and I wouldn't want to stain your fingers with it."

"You... So you come to my castle, then you have the audacity to say you massacred my army to my face." He says looking at the note, before laughing and taking a drink. "I envy your young bravery! I can't say I am pleased with this news, but I guess you don't want to kill me? I think you would have tried to take my head if you wanted me dead am I right?"

"You are indeed correct. I do not want to kill you, but I want to help you."

"You do?" He says sitting back up seriously. "Yes, I want to help you win the war amongst China, I will make you the strongest Warlord. Though I have one thing I want." I say pausing and taking off the pendant Ophis is trapped in. "I want to become your people's god."

"You what!"

"I want to become China's patron god. Of course I am not strong enough to compete with any other god in this world yet, so I will simply be the shadow emperor, and I will let you be the face of the empire."

"ha... Hahahaha! You expect me to allow you to trample over my authority." He says standing up before walking over to me and looking me in the eye. "You are in over your head little brat."

"Now, Now, sir. Think about it, you wouldn't have to do anything for the rest of your life, maybe do a speech or two. Other than that I would attend over everything you would usually." I say trying to persuade him. "You're a fool if you think I would allow you too walk over me and try to takeover MY empire. You are extremally mistaken you damn brat!" He says before trying to grab my collar, to which I sigh. "You are the mistaken one." I say before grabbing him by the face and slamming him into the wall.

"You think your measly opinion matters you goddamn worm! That wasn't a favor or a question that was a fucking order you maggot! You are worthless, stupid, weak, a peace of shit! You! Damn! Idiot!" I say repeatedly slamming his head into the wall before staring at his bloodied face. "You got cocky, I was calling you sir out of respect, not because you are of higher power. You will admit me as an ally to your army, and you WILL do what I say runt. Get your shit together and get a nurse or some shit. Damn idiot." I say before dropping his barely conscious body and exiting the door.

"You could've held back a bit more." "I know. He just pissed me off, acting like he is better than me, maybe I should just..... Sigh. Sorry, I don't know what got over me. At least he knows to not disrespect me. And if he want's me dead i'll just massacre everyone and take this city as my own."

"It's okay Kazu, just make sure to be calmer in situations like that. One day your anger could lead to a god being pissed off and killing you."

"I will make sure of that. Now lets go find an inn, here you can come out of the pendent." I say as I exit the palace and go to a random ally. I let her out, and she responds with a deep breathe of air. "God it is so stuffy inside that fucking thing. I hate it in there, I hope you never put me in there again." She says before hugging me. "I could put you in a jar instead." "Okay, Okay, i'll settle for the damn pendent. Let's just go to an inn already."

"So, wanna tell me this grand plan of yours?" She says, taking off her clothes and then laying in bed.

"I will kill every other Chinese emperor, than take over all of China. With Liu Bei as the head of everything the average citizen won't suspect anything. And one day during one of Liu's speeches to the public, I will appear in the sky and state that I am the god looking over them. Before acting angry and telling all of them to repent, and I will kill Liu once he objects, since I am 100% sure he will. Enforcing the idea of me being powerful. When the citizens beg for mercy I will kill some of them and act pleased. Then I will give out a months worth of meat, bread, and salt to everyone who survived to seem like a merciful god. I will then manipulate the scholars to write fake history about me, saying I 'told them' this knowledge." I pause to take off my shirt and laying in bed with Ophis.

"I will make it seem like every other god doesn't belong here, that they sealed me away for centuries and that is why my power is weak. Singing stories about how I once united the world and brought about world peace, and that hunger and thirst were myths, and yada yada yada."

"Ah I see, so you decided to go for the info manipulation trick. It was surprisingly used a lot during history, and it was also quite effective. I mean, look at the Chinese Communist Party. They controlled everything the media released, and they were effective with the propaganda they released. So that plan may work very well." Ophis says curling up to me and resting her head on my chest.

"Hopefully it is effective.... Gimme a sec." I say prying Ophis off me. Before repositioning my body to allow me to rest my head on her breasts. "I wanna do this today."

"Really? I am surprised, usually I am the one cuddling." "Well, I wanted to try something different. This is pretty comfortable, doesn't help that you have quite the pillow." "You just wanted to put your head on my boobs didn't you." "And? What if I did?"

"Hm.... Goodnight." I say before closing my eyes and letting Ophis' heart beat take me to sleep.

"Goodnight my love." She says, before she kisses my forehead, her hand reaching behind my head and playing with my hair. Making me fall asleep faster than I already was.
