Chapter 14

GU LIANG

Time flew by quickly, the business was soaring and over the past few months, Storm was able to set up her companies in about 3 countries successfully. Their relationship had been blooming, the kids were growing up to healthy boys. Aelle was officially adopted by Magnum and life could not be more perfect.

He was currently sitting in his office doing some work when he got a call, he looked at the phone with a frown." 爸?已經過去很久了,一切都好嗎?" (Pa? It's been a long time, everything alright?)

There was a pause from the other side,"兒子,你已經離開很久了.你該回家了." (Son, you've been away from home for a long time, it's time you come home.)

The man was gruff, he sounded exhausted and Liang knew that something was going on. His father was not one to just ask him to come home especially since Liang was managing his responsibility well.

"我會在那裡." (I will be there.) The man hummed at the responsible before he hung up.

Lee sighed, now he had to find a way to tell the girls that he was leaving. Hopefully, they'd agree to come with him seeing as Aelle was done with her exams and the babies were old enough to travel. He stood up from the desk and left his office after sending his men a message to get everything ready. He marched out of his house and drove to Storm's house.

" Liang!" Aelle squealed as she jumped into the man's arms as soon as she opened the door.

Liang chuckled as he hugged the ball of energy back, they had learnt a few months ago that Aelle was extremely energetic, earlier she was in fear and kept to herself always afraid that she might do something wrong. But ever since she stared training with Storm and sometimes Lee, she had been growing more confident. Spending time with Travis also made her open up more and more. Now she was a ray of sunshine and always up to some mischief.

The man pulled back and captured her lips in a heated kiss, he smiled when he felt a tug on his pants. He pull back from the kiss to look down at the three adorable beings on the floor. He set Aelle down and crouch to their level.

" Hi there, my cuties?" He ruffled their hair.

Tristan scrunched up his face, "Pa!" He exclaimed in his cute baby voice.

That's another thing that has changed, the boys are starting to talk, not much but a little. They're pretty smart too and always so protective of each other. "Oh? You still don't like anyone touching your hair?" He mused and the little guy was too eager to nod.

Liang laughed before turning to Grayson who gave him a toothy smile and kissed his cheek. Gray was an angel really, he was naughty sometimes but he always made sure to make his brothers happy. " You good, Gray Gray?" Lee smiled at him when the baby nodded.

He turned to Christian to find him silently watching them a little far, the boy was always so quiet yet protective of those he loved. He was the type that always seemed to be cold to the world yet was a giant teddy bear to those he loved. He did not show his feelings most of the time, sometimes they worried something was wrong with him. They even took him to a child specialist who had assured them that there was nothing wrong with the boy. He was just the silent type who'd rather let his actions speak for him.

Lee went over to him and picked him up, the little guy only stared at him as if he was analysing him. That was the thing about little Chris, he could sense people's emotions especially when there was something bothering them. It's like he knew the moment he saw them because if he was having a rough day and would be wailing, he would automatically keep quiet and behave. Lee almost cried when the little guy leaned in and kissed his forehead softly before hugging him.

"I'm ok, Little wolf, thank you though." He whispered softly in his little ear.

Just then Storm came in the room from her office, she kissed Aelle softly on the lips then played with the two boys on the floor a little before turning to Lee. She frowned the moment he looked up at her, she could sense that something was bothering him. Lee smiled softly before placing Chris down with his brothers.

" I need to talk to you both." He said as they sat down on the sofa watching the kids play. A maid brought them something to drink.

Aelle looked at him nervously,"What is it?"

Lee smiled at her, " Relax, little whirlwind, it's nothing serious. My father called, I need to go back home."

Ever since he told Storm his real identity, she knew that he was the president of his family business and that he did not have to work for her." Is everything alright at home or with the business?" Storm asked.

" I don't know, father was very brief and he did not elaborate. I'm guessing something is wrong or he wouldn't be calling me back considering I've been running the business well from here." Lee explained.

The women nodded in understanding, " When do you leave?" Aelle asked.

" Tomorrow morning, I was hoping you all could come with me since I don't know how long I'll be gone." He ran a hand through his long hair, " I might have to stay there permanently."

Storm stared at the kids silently while Aelle looked at the woman expectedly. The girl always looked to Storm or Liang for answers before she did anything. As much as the two gave her full freedom, she preferred them taking charge and it made her more relaxed. She always voiced her concerns when she did not like whatever they decide.

"I will have someone take care of the office here for a while until we are sure how long we will be in China. If we have to settle down there, I'll hire a CEO to manage things here." Storm informed as she turned to Lee.

The man smiled broadly while Aelle jumped with joy. They were going to China as a family.
