First Golem

Quinn's P.O.V.

"A pleasure to be your servant, my Master. How can I help you?" Said a wolf in front of me as he bows his head. The wolf was beautiful, it's black and red colored fur swaying with the wind as it's tail wags. It's eye color were red and black as well. What a wonderful wolf you have turned to. I will cherish you for the rest of my life.

Hang on. How did he talk? Isn't he just a wolf? Is it a part of my skill <Golem Creation>? Well, since it turned out like that, I bet it is. This skill makes me feel like a cheater. Again. Anyway, I have to name this gorgeus Golem of mine. Don't worry. I will treat you like a family.

"Luminos." I said

"I beg your pardon, Master?" He asked.

"Luminos. That will be your name from now on." I added.

"T-thank you very much!" He stated as he fowls. Sheesh. That's kinda overreacting. I just gave you a name. Nothing to be proud of. Going back, I want to see your attribute. As I thought that, a screen popped in front of me. Oh? So it knows what I'm thinking about? The System sure is powerful. Anyway, as I looked at the screen, the words that are in there surprised me.

"How in the world are you this strong? And... what? You're not a Vampire Wolf anymore?" I expressed, looking at Luminos.

"Yes. Thanks to my Master's mana, as well as naming me, I have turned into a Moonlight Wolf." He responded. O-kay? What a big coincidence it is! I named him Luminos, which is close to the Romanian ord, Lumina Lunii, which literally means Moonlight. Though, this isn't the time to be amazed by such coincidences.

I looked at it with both confusion and amazingness in my eyes. I mean, A Moonlight Wolf? How in the world is that possible? I red from the book that the System gave me that a Moonlight Wolf is a Legendary Wolf that only shows itself once every 10 years.

It is believed that a Moonlight Wolf once destroyed a city in exactly 30 minutes. Furthermore, it's attack are known to be extremely fast and strong, as well as being able to use Moon Magic. I don't know anything about Magic yet, but yeah.

On a different topic, is this wolf some sort of a butler? With its movements and speech patterns, it really is like a butler. Okay? So I have died, met the System, been reincarnated, fought in the first hours of my life, and then owned a Moonlight Wolf? WHAT. IN. THE. WORLD. IS. HAPPENING?!

"Master? Are you alright?" Asked Luminos as he rubbed it's body towards mine. I felt a pinch of tickle and calmness in my body. Haaa. It really is wonderful to have a fluffy pet.

More like, a dangerous, city-breaker, powerful Moonlight Wolf that can tear me up into pieces in just a second. I looked at it as he whimper. I sighed. I need to rest. I petted Luminos, walked on the road with him, and then all of a sudden, he ran and looked nat me.

"It would be amazing if you let me carry you to the nearest town!" He stated.

"Is that really okay? I mean, I do think that you are big and strong enough to take me to the nearest town with no problem at all. But still—" Without even letting me finish what I am about to say, Luminos stated somethig that made me feel.... loved.

"Of course not! Afterall, you're my master. And I truly respect you from the bottom of my heart. You have freed me from my suffering from my previous life."

"I truly fear and respect you, mainly because you are my master, but also because I sense this feeling that you are a great person. Moonlight Wolves have the ability to sense the true nature of a person you know? So come on! We still have food waiting for us!" He said. I'm touched, but... food? I nodded as I smiled, and then went near him.

Gosh. You're like a lion. Look how long you are! 2.5 meters in length — head to body —, 41 inches length of tail, and around 1.8 meters in height. Considerig your size, you can carry me with like another person with no problem at all. Such fascinating thing. This is too good to be true.

I pinched myself in the cheeks, yet nothing happened. I felt the pain in my cheek as I giggled. Luminos looked at me with a confused face. I petted him in the head and then nodded. We started walking, and then a few hours later, we finally see the Town.

"So this is the Town of Finitt huh? It's pretty big." I stated. Suddenly, I felt something fluffy and small sit in my head. "W-who are you?"

"Master, it's me, Luminos." A cute voice of a male suddenly stated.

"What in the world are you doing on top of my head?" I asked.

"Well, it's not normal to see a tamed Moonlight Wolf. If they see me with you, they might capture the both of us. Worst case scenario, we will die. So for future circumstances, I made myself small. Moonlight Wolves can do that, afterall. I am tuly sorry if I can no longer be of any use in populated areas. But please don't worry when the night falls. I will guard you with my life!" He stated.

"Okay. But please don't transform without letting me know. I don't know anything about you yet, so let's talk later okay? I want to know more about my precious Golem. I know the feeling of being unapreciated afterall." I stated.

"Yes, Master..." He said, somewhat sad. I sighed. This is my new life from now on. I should get used to it or I can kiss my life goodbye. Thus, my journey in surviving in this world has now commenced!
