Everyone's expressions varied as Bart approached the tall iron hammer man statue. Now, even the purest-looking mage girl felt that something was wrong.
"Where's the monster? Where is the monster you talked about?" The masked man was standing at the back of the group. His expression was vigilant and serious, and his gaze as he looked at Bart was cold.
However, Bart ignored the masked man. He slowly walked to the statue and squatted down. He lowered his head and said, "Great Lord, I have followed your orders and brought new believers."
The people behind immediately exploded. The masked man took out the dagger at his waist and even the silly-looking mage girl could not control herself from shouting, "Don't talk nonsense! I'm a loyal believer of the Goddess of Magic!"
As she spoke, she raised her staff and retreated, clearly wanting to leave this place that already made her feel very uneasy.
