After killing the insect-like monster, Zhou Chen began to move towards the scroll shop. He wanted to see if the white-bearded old man was still around and if he could obtain the ring.
While running, Zhou Chen encountered a few other blood-red monsters, but he felt that these monsters were ordinary. Moreover, they did not attack him but instead wreaked havoc in the city. He ignored them and continued on his way.
"Where's the city administration? They should have reacted by now."
Looking at the scene of monsters wreaking havoc, Zhou Chen was speechless at the city's lack of response. Up to now, he had yet to see any resistance that looked like an organization. Only some scattered extraordinary humans were fighting passively after they were targeted by the monsters.
As for the guards who liked to accept bribes, he did not see a single one of them fighting monsters. No, he saw a few, in the form of broken corpses.
