Wu Yan woke up early in the morning, feeling refreshed and full of energy. He couldn't wait to go out and test his newly acquired strength. As he got ready, he glanced at the system panel, which showed that he had made significant progress in his skin cultivation.
He had reached the 4th rank of the Rock Skin cultivation technique, and he was eager to see how much stronger it had made him. He decided to head to the outer sect sparring grounds to test his skills against some of the other disciples.
When he arrived at the sparring grounds, he saw several other disciples practicing their martial arts techniques. He spotted a young disciple he recognized as Zhang Wei and approached him.
"Hey Zhang Wei, would you like to spar with me?" Wu Yan asked.
Zhang Wei was surprised by the invitation, as he knew that Wu Yan was not known for his fighting skills. But he agreed nonetheless, thinking that it would be an easy win.
As they began to spar, Wu Yan could feel the power of his newly cultivated skin. He was able to block Zhang Wei's attacks with ease and even managed to land a few blows of his own.
Zhang Wei was taken aback by Wu Yan's sudden improvement in strength and speed. He realized that he had underestimated Wu Yan and tried to launch a more powerful attack. However, Wu Yan was able to block it effortlessly, leaving Zhang Wei stunned.
Wu Yan took advantage of Zhang Wei's surprise and landed a powerful punch to his stomach, knocking him to the ground. The other disciples watching the fight were amazed by Wu Yan's sudden improvement.
As he helped Zhang Wei up, Wu Yan smiled and said, "Looks like my training is paying off."
