The capital of the kingdom of the elves
Elora was proceeding at a brisk pace from her father the king to decide what to do with the human, poor Darrel, tied up had to keep Elora's pace, arrived in front of the elf king.
Darrel who could only admire the great hall, when together with Elora, they bowed to the king Darrel, in the meanwhile he noticed some archers hiding in blind spots.
"What happened my daughter, Elora, what is this human doing in our kingdom?" the king said, wondering if the human was a spy despite his faint aura.
"My king, this human who says his name is Darrel, claims to have found himself fainted in the woods" said Elora

said the king equally embarrassed
"Actually my king ... I would not want to disrespect you but ... I have already been on my knees for a few minutes, could I get up? My knees are starting to hurt" said Darrel with stiff knees
"How rude, dare you contradict the king?!" the king said more and more embarrassed of showing his clumsy side

So an elf brought the lie detector, while Elora was talking to her father, Darrel was not clear what they were talking about, probably from their expressions, you could tell they were still arguing over what happened before, Darrel hoped for the well they weren't arguing about how to call each other [Daddy? Sweety? But we can discuss these things pff!...] Darrel thought trying not to point out his laugh.
"Now come near human! Answer my questions and if you are lying to me you will sign your sentence to death by yourself"
[I have to be careful not to say more than I should, I only have to tell the truth but not the whole truth] Darrel thought as he heard the king's words, while he was approaching but always keeping a safe distance, to be sure that if perhaps the king takes a moment of madness, because from what he had seen so far it did not give them a sense of security, even if he could just do the rebirth, it was a pain in the ass to do it all over again, but above all, dying every time was certainly not easy, it could affect his mental health and make him crazy.
