A blinding light forced William to shield his eyes before he reached the peak of the stairwell. Five steps from the top of the now yellow brick stairs, bright sunlight more intense than the outside world shone down in rays.
Hardly a moment later, William sensed an immense source of vitality. Even when he closed his eyes, his Life Affinity allowed him to see a perfectly spherical aura that reminded him of the Superior Life Veins from back on Efretta.
Of course, the System notified him in advance that this couldn't be absorbed. When he reached the top of the stairs and adjusted to the sunlight, the Bestiary was the one to break the news.

It was actually a living creature— the Boss of the 15th floor, to be exact. Its body was oddly proportioned, with a perfectly round upper body made of orange-yellow sun stone and a pair of blocky legs with giant marbles for knee joints.
