269 Annihilation

William's body flashed through the crowds of Magical Beasts like a ghost, each move spelling the death of another creature. He effortlessly dodged each attack launched in his general direction, firing arrows at those that dared to target him from afar.

Though he was very fast, many Cultivators battling were able to identify William over time. The Players were first, their appraisals able to see his name like a floating text box above his body, while the NPCs noticed a few minutes later when William took an occasional pause.

Despite the fact that he was labeled a criminal and wanted by the Azures Continent, no one made an immediate move to capture him. They were too busy dealing with the Elemental Beast Tide, and it would be stupid to get rid of a capable helper.

Some people started to think that the rumors about William weren't true. After all, why would he risk his life to fight the Beast Tide when he was the one that started it? It didn't make sense.
