Rain understood that overcoming any barrier typically involved destroying its core, neutralizing its source, or inflicting damage beyond the barrier's capacity to sustain itself. Keeping this in mind, he attempted to excavate through the layer of earth while actively employing his mana to counteract the influences of the path system. This strategic maneuver aimed to disrupt the barrier's functionality, potentially enabling him to breach it without triggering excessive attention or resistance.
Much to his surprise, he was able to pierce the barrier with his hand and throw away a handful of earth from it, but as soon as he moved it, the some earth appeared and repaired the damage that he had caused.
"It can be done, I just need to find the right amount of mana to cross this barrier without keeping myself stuck in it," Rain thought.
