Chapter 38 Escaping Crafne (2)

"AHHHH! That was a good rest." Cyril said as he woke up. 'I am already feeling better but I can still barely walk.' Cyril thought as he petted Oswald. "Did any mishaps occur?" Cyril asked Era who was already awake snacking.

"No nothing strange!" Era said while in the middle of eating. One by one everyone started to wake up. Once everyone was ready Cyril said "Onward to Oldland!" "Onward!" they all said in unison as they marched ahead.

In about 2 hours they had made it a kilometre away from Oldland. "We're soon there guys keep going." Cyril said as their safety was in sight. "Not so fast!" A man in military gear said while holding a gun.

"You take one more step and I shoot. Don't test me. Now you're all coming with me." He continued but little did he know there was a snake underneath him. Just as he was about to walk towards Cerasus Secondary Oswald bit him and threw him into a tree.

"What was that?"

"What's going on?"

"Are we all going to die?"

'All according to plan.' Cyril though as he said "It doesn't matter continue walking he probably tripped." They had all discussed this earlier. Since the others couldn't deal with guns well yet they just had Oswald clear any enemies up.

Soon they were a kilometre away from Oldland the border was just in sight but it was shocking what they were met with.

There were at least 100 soldiers using automatic assault rifles along with 2 manned tanks and 10 manned machine guns. "How did they get all this sh*t here so fast?" Drake asked quietly as the all hid in the shrubbery. "It seems we're going to have to make a detour." Adamaris said as she gazed worriedly at what they'd have to face.

Little did they know that they had already been spotted.

"BOOM!" A canon blast had just missed them by a couple meters. "Drat! Aaron you deal with the tanks. Trainers use your pokemon to take out the soldiers and Adamaris you use a spell to deal with the machine guns. Oh and Snipers along with Magicians and Wave Controllers try take some of them out with some spells. SCATTER!" Cyril commanded as he told Giles to head left.

"Oswald go take out as many as you can." Cyril said to Oswald as Giles continued running. Soon the soldiers started shooting at the kids from Cerasus Secondary but they fought tooth and nail. First one tank exploded due to Aaron's bang.

The second one was then destroyed by Adamaris using a wind bird spell. Drake killed all the people manning the machine guns swiftly as he launched multiple exploding lead bullets in succesion killing them all.

It was a slaughter to say the least. After that everyone continued running, running to freedom but soon they saw a few objects in the sky moving at high speed. "ALL OF YOU RUN CONTINUE RUNNING IT'S ME THEY WANT!" Cyril shouted as he let go of Giles and shouted again "COME AT ME SCUM IT'S NOT LIKE YOU CAN HURT ME!" while barely standing up but before he could play hero Giles grabbed him and ran with all his might while saying "We're not losing you today. BOSS!"

Soon the missles neared but soon missles from Oldland came too. Sadly though they couldn't out run missles. Before they hit though the Yuki Clan types made ice walls and Aaron shot bangs at the missles so they would explode further away from them.

"BOOM!"

"BOOM!"

"BOOM!"

"BOOM!"

4 missles simultaneously exploded as the ice walls shattered and all of Cerasus Secondary were thrown back by the shock wave. "PUUUU!" Cyril spat up blood as he was thrown back. His injuries were bad enough but now he was hit by a missle shockwave.

"Guys. If they're taking such extreme means I think even if we go back by plane they'll just blow it up." Cyril said as he looked in horror at how they had just sent 4 missles to kill them.

Soon enough though cars from the Oldland military came. The people in them came out saying "Cyril Reeds and his friends. Please come with us."
