What Defeat Tastes Like
As Legion dashed forward, some ring walls began to explode, forcing water from a strange source to fill the domain from its roots.
"Lunari…" Ace mumbled to himself unconsciously as the water began to wash down from ring walls, covering the tip of his boots in an instant.
It wouldn't take long, the waters would start to flow into the rings and if by chance Lunari had picked the wrong ring in search of the door, she would definitely drown.
Ace could not bring himself to imagine what would happen afterwards. He couldn't lose Lunari. She was already an important personality in that phase he was— she was his human compass to his sister— Anya.
