Wave

Everything is dark. My left arm feels numb and I can barely move. Even breathing is difficult. As my eyes gets used to the dark, I noticed that there is nothing but rocks. Perhaps I was buried by the terrain after hitting so hard on the ground. There are probably a hundred tons of rocks above me. In any case, we ought to get outta here.

However, I don't think I can even move to create a sphere of energy with my hands. So, what now?

After thinking for a while, something suddenly pops into my mind.

...Right. How could I be so dumb? The Mobius energy pervades throughout my whole body, not only from my hands. So far I've only been using it from my hands and feet. In theory, I should be able to emit energy from any and every inch of my body at once. It's worth a try. I don't have any other option anyway.

I empty my mind and start to imagine several currents of energy traversing in the insides of my body. My bones, blood veins, organs, muscles, mind...everything connected to energy.

"<Mobius Engine>: Overdrive!"

My body starts to shine and gets enveloped by a spherical yellow light, which then violently expands into an omnidirectional wave, engulfing and vaporizing anything and everything on a 30-meter radius.

"Now that I have some free space, time to fly out of here"

I gather energy on my feet and use it to propel myself into the air. After returning to the place I was previously, I start looking for the robot I was fighting before.

"No sign of it...I really want to say it's dead but my Overload couldn't reach all of its body."

I land on the ground and start looking at the surroundings.

A bad idea.

Right after landing, something grabs my right arm and tosses me into a nearby hill at incredible speeds.

"Gahhh!"

I end up hitting my back on the hill, causing a chunk of it to crack. Luckily, I can't get damaged from attacks like this.

I look in the direction of the enemy, but I see nothing.

A few seconds later, I feel something punch me right in the stomach.

"What?!"

A punch in the face. A kick in the leg. A jab in the chin. It keeps attacking me without end. It should be right in front of me, but I see nothing.

"This fucker has invisibility...?"

I could not see the robot, and as such couldn't counterattack his moves. And the fact that it keeps hitting with physical attacks implies that it is only playing with me, or that it noticed that energy blasts wouldn't work. Not like physical attacks would be of any good, either. Was my Overload of no effect? Either way, I need to target him in some way.

"<Mobius Engine>: Overdrive!"

My body gets enveloped by a bright yellow light, releasing an omnidirectional wave.

The robot was no farther than 3 meters away from me. It should be able to reach it. And as I expected, it did. But something strange happened. Right after it hit him, my wave stopped expanding. A complete halt. The reason for this was simple.

It was absorbing my energy. Both of its arms were supposedly touching the sphere, while at the same time draining the energy with its two cannon-like hands. This also confirmed that its right arm was in fact, fine. Or at least, it regenerated.

"Shit...if this keeps going I won't have enough power to fight back...I have to drawback."

I cancel the Overdrive and jump far away from the robot, creating a safe distance between us both.

I still can't see it. I have to think of something else to spot it. Think, you idiot. What kind of energy could help here?

The answer was right in front of my face.

"Kinetic energy...everything that has mass and moves produces kinetic energy..."

If every time the metal idiot moves produce kinetic energy, all I had to do was to detect him via the use of said energy. It's possible.

"But even if I spot it, I can't use energy attacks against it."

!!!

But I don't have energy attacks only. In fact, I had two primary abilities.

While I was talking to myself, the robot jumps off the ground and starts flying in my direction at a speed of Mach 2000.

Now that I could detect its movements, it was no issue. In fact, now not only I could detect kinetic motion but theoretically also heat, gravity, air, vibrations, and electromagnetic waves.

"Fine, then. Come, C-3PO. I'll turn you into a good soda can."
