Opening his eyes with a startle, he perceives that he is in an enclosed room. Agitated beyond belief, he gets up from the bed and leaped onto the wooden floor and as he did so, a loud creak came from under his weight as hurried footsteps echoed. Glancing about, he notices an open window and immediately leaped out.

Just as he exited the compartment, the door was violently opened as a crowd of people barged in. While they were glancing around, he took the opening and fled into the bordering woodland.

" What are we going to do? We can't just let him live here. We don't even know who nor where he came from. "

An aged elder voiced with his rough voice. Bringing his hand to cover his mouth, he coughs.

" Although he is just a child, this is cruel to say, but we cannot let him stay here. There are simply numerous things wrong with it that are beyond our control. "

Another aged elder who's seen better eras talked her mind for the greater of the whole.

As more and more chatter explodes in the gathering compartment, a youthful and robust man with pitch-black hair spoke, " Village Elder, what is your verdict? "

All of a sudden, the heated discussion died down as they turn their heads towards the village elder. Quiet since the beginning, the Village Elder begins, " I say-- "

Only, before the Village Elder could proceed, a heavy thud emanated from one of the room jolting everyone from their intent focus. Startled, everyone except for the Village Elder and several other elders scrambled over to see what happened. Upon swinging the door open, the only thing they saw missing was of the child sleeping on the bed.

With his heart fiercely hammering in his chest, he decreased down to a walk. Peering over his shoulder to wherever he came from, he quivers from the touch of...

Trekking with no destination in mind, he came to a crystal clear lake. Going over to the water's edge, on the lake's surface, he saw the face of a human. To his bewilderment, he resembles those whom he fled from albeit a tad unusual.

Without delivering it much attention or care in the world, he begins to drink from the lake. Having drunk enough and swinging his head out of the water with a blissful face, he relaxes and fell behind. Watching as the clouds drift overhead and the sun gradually withdrawing, he sat up scratch his crown of green hair.

Walking over to a sturdy and lengthy tree, he starts to climb the shaft of the tree. Hugging the tree and climbing up the trunk, he nimbly reaches the thick branches as he surveys his surroundings. With two distinctly different eyes, it does not support him greatly. Nevertheless, by blocking one eye, his range of view shifts drastically.

Enough with his sightseeing, he was about to plunge when he discerns something in the far background. It seemed to be a bright purple light which seemed to allude him. Entranced he gawked at the soft and faint luminosity of the light as it flew from one spot to another as if it possessed a life of its own.

His trance-like state was broken as a bone-chilling howl broke through the peaceful environment. Listening with more intent, he discovers that the howl came from the same direction as the purple glow. Unconsciously, he emits a low growl as he stares at the light.

Soon enough, as quickly and quietly as it came, the mysterious light disappears. As the purple light disappears, the howls came to a stop as well.

Feeling sore from his throat, he massages it. Thinking for a few seconds, he looks at the sky and discovers that the moon was falling. Jumping down, as he lands, his body shudders from his previous tenseness and lack of blood flow.

I'm tired. I tried. I'm exhausted. I felt like posting it although it's short. Enjoy...
