"I'm sorry," Gemma murmured against Miguel's chest as he held her.

"It's okay, I understand it will take some time for you to come to trust me again and fully forgive me for what I did." Miguel kissed the top of her head.

"I have forgiven you, I hold no grudge against you," Gemma says in a low tone.

"Yeah, but you don't trust me quite yet." He kissed her forehead. "I love you, Gem and I will keep telling you that until you believe me and trust that I won't break your heart. I meant it when I said that I won't break your heart."

Gemma sighed softly. They both remained in each other's embrace for a while before Miguel gently pulled away.

"I have to leave for work now," he said, his eyes on hers as he pushed a tendril of hair away from her face, his fingers grazing her skin.

"So early? Gemma asked with a frown not wanting to let him go yet.
