Chapter 2 - T1 Machines - Star System Radar

Edis gave the command a few seconds later.

"Mole-Type starts working and gathering mass."

"Lizard-Type starts producing energy."

With Edis's commands, three T1 moles started working. With their advanced technology, they easily began to dig into and extract resources from the surface of the gray moon.

After a sufficient amount of "mass" was collected, the transfer process was directly sent to Infernium's body.

This meant that Edis could comfortably use the product.

Similarly, the Lizard-Type started producing energy. The energy production of the Lizard-Type was a bit more colorful, but there wasn't much difference.

"Hmm, I can gain three points of energy and mass every week," he thought.

He turned his eyes to two T1 teardrop fighters and approved them.

"Although I don't really need them, it's good to have them for security on an unknown moon," Edis said.

Edis paused for a moment and switched to his second plan.

"I have 60 points of energy and mass to use."

After a few seconds of contemplation, Edis came to the Life Space Hub and looked at the flat area next to it.

"This place isn't bad," he thought and began to speak.

"Infer, how much can T1-Battery and T1-Mass Storage hold?"

After a few seconds, Infer responded, "T1-Battery can accumulate 1000 points of energy, and T1-Mass Storage can accumulate 1000 points of mass."

"My suggestion is to create a T1-Multi-Storage Unit. This technology increases your personal energy and mass capacity to 1000. However, it requires 10 masses and 10 energies."

After a brief thought, Edis responded, "Activate T1-Multi Storage Unit then."

A few seconds after Edis gave the command, it was executed.

"Emotional Simulator (Host can use this to activate emotional simulation, which the technology can imitate to mimic the "feeling" that humans experience.)"

After implementing part of his plans, Edis asked Infer, "What is the cost of T1-Star System Radar?" and continued speaking.

"Infer, I'm satisfied with the results so far. However, we've only explored our immediate surroundings. We need to have a broader perspective. Can you develop T1-Star System Radar to explore deeper into space?" he said.

Infer responded after a few seconds, "T1-Star System Radar requires 20 energy points and 20 mass points."

Edis thought for a moment and then decided, "Yes, create that radar. I want to see what we can find in the depths of space."

"Ding," "Command Received."

As Edis planned his progress towards new discoveries, he spent the required energy and matter to create the T1-Star System Radar.

T1-Star System Radar was a device that provided the person with certain information within the star system they were in. It resembled a type of wind turbine.

"I wouldn't spend 20 energy and 20 mass points if I didn't really need it," Edis thought.

Reviewing the design of the T1-Star System Radar, Edis looked at the structure next to the Space Life Hub.

"Infer, can you explain the working principle of this radar? What kind of information can it collect, and how does it work?" he asked.

Infer replied, "Certainly, Host. T1-Star System Radar scans the surrounding space using electromagnetic waves. This way, it thoroughly scans the star system we are in and can obtain basic information such as the distance, size, and composition of the star. It can also track details such as possible planets, asteroid belts, and spacecraft activities."

Edis seemed satisfied with the information he heard.

"After activating it, at least I'll have a clearer idea about my situation."

"Infer, activate the radar, and transfer the obtained data to me," Edis commanded.

T1-Star System Radar started working and began collecting data. Infer excitedly said, "Host, I discovered a star and three planets that are not in the database. Additionally, I detected more than 20 moon-sized satellites."

While listening to these discoveries, Edis felt uneasy. "This means I'm truly in dark space."

The term "dark space" was not a description of a kind of space but a general term defining all undiscovered star systems and regions.

Edis pondered for a second.

"Maybe this is not such a bad thing."

Then he asked a different question. Even though he could directly receive the information from "T1-Star System Radar," as a human, not a robot, he found it easier to obtain such information through Infer.

"Infer, can you check if there is any danger in this new star system?"

After some calculations, Infer replied, "There is currently no sign of any danger, Host. We are in a safe process."

Edis took a sigh of relief and smiled. "Great! Even though I know I can't breathe, it doesn't matter. At least knowing there is no immediate danger makes me happy."

"Infer, help us explore these discoveries in more depth. Record new information and provide me with every detail," he commanded.

As Infer began to delve deeper into the research with Edis's orders, Edis, at the same time, reviewed devices he could use to increase energy and matter production other than T1 Lizard and T1 Mole.

Edis thought, "Infer, what technologies can we use to increase both energy and matter production? Besides T1 Lizard and T1 Mole, are there more efficient and advanced devices?"

Infer replied, "Certainly, Host. There are several technologies we can use for that purpose. However, I do not recommend these devices at the moment due to our current energy and mass shortages."

After some thought, Edis said, "Alright, infer."Create and activate two more T1-Lizard and T1-Mole each to increase both energy and matter production."

"Ding," "Command Received."

With Edis's orders, the active T1-Mole and T1-Lizard machines increased to five. This resulted in a weekly production of "5 Points" for both mass and energy.

It wasn't much, but it was a good start.
