Chapter 110

She watched as he hummed. Before taking a step towards her. She tried not to be intimidated by his steps as she tried to keep her ground. However there was a part of her that felt a sense of curiosity come over her at the thought of what he was doing.

"well you see that is my problem. This report isn't real." He said to her.

He watched as she furrowed her brows at him as she tried to reach out to grab a hold of the report however he stopped her as he shook his head.

"You see in this report it paints the perfect picture. One stude3nt gone mad and the others left defenseless. But somehow my daughter is portrayed as weak and yet she still managed to survive." He said to her.

He watched as she sighed and she was quiet for a moment before she furrowed her brows and decided to speak up after a moment.

"isn't that what you want in the end for your daughter to be alive and for her to be viewed as the one student who managed to survive such a great tragedy when everyone else seemed to have fallen victim to the calamity." She said to him.

She watched as he gritted his teeth and he shook his head at her.

"that is what you don't understand because of your attempt to make her seem like some miracle that was the only one who was able to escape calamity you were able to leave out crucial parts." He said to her.

He watched as she furrowed her brows at him in response.

"I don't understand what you mean. What do you want me to do sir." She asked him after a moment in confusion.

"Well this might be good at covering the truth but it isn't good enough. The whole point of the course was to see the potential of the students and to show that they have what it takes to graduate and they are fully capable of being able to join society." He said to her and he watched as she paused for as moment before she slowly nodded her head at him.

"yes that is true. But once again I don't understand how that is a problem." She said to him.

"You have managed to paint my daughter as weak and feeble. She is barely present in the report and you have managed to find a way to blur her out in thew background. How do you think this would be good for us if we want her to be portrayed as the strong and powerful mage that she is destined to become especially after she leaves this place." He asked her with a quirked eyebrow.

She gulped as she thought over his words for a moment and she had to admit that there was some level of truth to his qwordfs.

:I don't think that we should. The academy is the one that put together this report and if they are to find that it has been altered they will ask questions and I don't think that either of us want to have to answer that." She said to him in a futile attempt of her trying to get him to change his mind.

However he was unnerving in his stare as he only gave her a shrug of his shoulders.

"That isn't my problem but yours and you know just as well as I do that this academy doesn't control me. I am the one who makes the decisions and they would hate to see me upset." He said to her.

She didn't say anything as she knew that he was right. After all he was thew one who held the power and he was the one who was responsible for making the final decisions.

"What do you want me to do." Sher said to him in a whisper after a moment. She watched as a bright smile spread across his features as he leaned in closer towards her.

"I am glad to see that you are willing to think about it. I need you to change the report to make it seem as though it was tina that was willing to sacrifice herself for the class. That she fought off the wolves valiantly and the only reason she was able to make it out alive was because of her strong mage energy and the magic that she was able to harness." He said to her.

She widened her eyes as she took in his words. "I don't think I can do that. Don't you think that it would be hard for people to believe the fact that was what actually happened." She said to him.

She watched as he shook his head at her in response as he smiled brightly.

"I don't care how you plan to do it as long as you get it done." He said to her.

He watched as she glanced her eyes from side to side and he was all too familiar with that look.

He let out a sigh from his lips as he took a step closer to her.

"I think that you still don't know who I am so maybe I am going to have to open your mind to it." He said to her.

"You will change that report and if you don't./" he said to her as she watched him slam his fist down on the table.

She flinched as her eyes widened at the sight before her.

"Well let us say that you are going to get on my bad side if you don't. feel free to ask around and you will know that those that get on my bad side or refuse to do things that I ask of them don't end up very happy. Let us say that we are going to just do things my way or not do things at all. Because if you decide not to do as I ask then you aren't going to like the consequences at all." He. Said to her and she could hear the silent promise in his tone.

Sher couldn't help but shiver slightly in fear at his words and she knew that they held promise.

She was well aware of how powerful he was and as he was also well aware of how capable and determined he was when he wanted to send a message.

She knew that she wasn't going to stand as chance if she were to try and push him any further.

The people would always side with him and she knew that.

"Fine I will do it." She said to him with a frown.

He hummed as he nodded his head at her. "Don't look so down. This is for the best and I am only doing what is best for the academy as a whole."

She gulped as she didn't say anything to him. 

"I guess that will just take that order then." She said to him as she reached out and tried to grab a hold of the file.

However he was quick to pull it away as he leaned in close to her and revealed a smile.
