DD Broadcasting Network plans

As the preparations for India's independence day was ongoing, Satyankar realised that most of the people don't have TV to watch the parade on DD National.

So, he decided to establish DD TV Network. It wouldn't be functional in so little time, but in the near future, TV can have a massive impact.

While online classes aren't possible right now, TV classes are.

Of course, the quality must be the best, so much so that the whole world watches DD channels.

He decided on certain channels and shows that should be on the network.

First, the main channel: DD TV

It will have daily news, one hour each, three times a day. It will also broadcast main sporting events, like Kabaddi in the near future, football-

"Oh shit! I completely forgot about football!"

Satyankar grumbled as he realised that he completely forgot about India not participating in FIFA and instead going to olympics, and the stereotype that the players didn't have money for shoes.

He will have to reform the Football association so that India becomes a world player.

As he wrote about it in his checklist, he returned to the show list of DD TV.

There will be Kabaddi and Football as the most valuable sports, and WWE.

Either it is not established yet, or it is called WWF.

Then aside from sports, Saturday and Sundays will be for animes. What will it be names for Indian animation...? Chitrakatha? No. That's for comics.

It should be something cool, and easy to pronounce in every part of the world. Hmmm... How about just Ani?

Yeah. Let's go with that.

Instead of cartoons, Ani needs to be from every genre, for every demographic. I can't let it be associated with Cartoons.

I will start Ani production from Kolkata Art University that is being built. The first batch will come from next year. Sambhar and Ramayan should be good starting shows. Afterall, a serial or a movie can't have the special effects that an Ani can have. After 50-60 years, the special effects of Ramayan, Mahabharat were not something that anyone without some knowledge about the two epics beforehand will consider watching.

But animations are evergreen. Tom and Jerry's 40s-50s are comparable to any of the 2020s animations.

Speaking of Tom and Jerry, I should add an Ani for kids too. And what is better than Doraemon and Shinchan? Obviously removing the ecchi stuff, like I did with Sambhar(Naruto's copy).

Anyway, let's add a sitcom as well. Something that will push people towards science, and will be entertaining as well.

TMKOC where characters develop overtime instead of being stuck, with one family like Sheldon's. Gotta keep pushing science.

Let's see...

Jethalal's family will be as it is as it was during middle era of TMKOC. I should have Bhide's daughter, Sonu, like Sheldon. Gotta make girl-child smart. I shouldn't make Sodhi stupid and him keep doing Balle Balle which can stereotype Sikhs.

And I should remove Jethalal's affair thing with Babitaji. His problems are enough to make him interesting.

Have Iyer and Babitaji, and Taarak and Anjali working couple.

Anyway, I should come up with TMKOC seasonal-wise, actually develop characters, and use this show to promote unity in diversity and develop tourism in the country.

And a Shark Tank. That is necessary.

Takeshi's Castle type show should also be present.

Anyway, DD TV should have enough with this much shows.

Aside from it, there will be DD Sports, DD Ani, DD Drama, DD Movies, DD Educational (1 to 12) DD MTV, etc.

In India, the model should be add-run free channel, with each show getting 70% of the add revenue if made on its own, and negotiated share if the channel helps.

Outside of India, the channel will obviously be paid too.

As soon as the Independence Day is done, I should work on it, and try to get the channels to be aired in USA atleast, because it will be the most profitable, both revenue-wise and gaining soft-power.
