Chapter Twenty Nine

Ariel sat on her bed, Her legs curled around her. Her mother just embarrassed her in front of Marie and that dumb boy , Adrian. How does she expect her to apologise when the only thing she did was to correct their misconception about Y.K?

She sighed and lay down on the bed. She should not have walked out on them, she should have at least tried to hold her anger. Her mom was not going to take it easy with her for her rude behavior.

As she grabbed a pillow to place under her head, she heard angry footsteps coming up the stairs and quickly used a blanket to cover herself.

Patricia banged on Ariel's door, asking her to come out and when she does not hear anything, she slammed the door and enter inside, staring angrily at the figure on the bed.

"Get up! I know you are not sleeping,"She shouted angrily and moved closer to her.

Ariel sensed her mother coming close and quickly removed the blanket from her head, shifting to the edge of the bed.
