Titles are hard
Sitting myself down on a building across the street, I immediately start connecting to the police communication channels through my suit to find out Marko's location and destination.
Despite the news and radio channels all around the city blaring out warnings of a giant monster roaming the streets, the people down below seem fairly relaxed, going about their daily business as if nothing is out of the ordinary.
I suppose the fantastic four and mutants existing already have gotten the population accustomed to such occurrences.
Wait, where are the fantastic four? Now thinking about it, shouldn't they be taking care of this or at least helping out in some way?
I've been seeing some people online criticizing them lately and making comparisons with me. While I have been going after many small-time criminals for that sweet, sweet xp, the fantastic four only target big villains, which understandably don't show up often.
Man, I hope they aren't mad at me when we finally meet for the first time because some fans are starting beef between each other.
Back to the business at hand, listening to the frantic organization of police forces through the radio, I pick out that Marko was first spotted intruding at a construction site for a new casino, where he later emerged from at giant size, heading toward the docks.
It's an open secret that some of the maggia families' biggest bases and storehouses are located at the docks where cops rarely go to, so it's safe to say that Marko is heading over for some more revenge.
While I would love to wait with my plan to defeat Marko and let him rampage around a bit and deal a heavy blow to the maggia, unfortunately, I cannot do that.
There is no problem with letting the maggia members die and destroying their property, but Marko looks too happy to cause unwanted destruction and deaths along the way that affects innocent people as he is en route to his destination.
That and most importantly, all these maggia members are precious xp to me that I am not willing to give up so easily, so regrettably, I will have to go take care of Marko right away.
Jumping off the roof of the building I had been stationed on, I start heading toward where Sandman is currently at.
Even without access to the police communication channels, it wouldn't be hard. Looking down on the streets, it seems as if every damn cop car in the city is currently driving to the same place, following them would be enough.
While on the move, I get the thought that I should call George and let him know that I will be bringing Sandman over to our planned battle site, and he should be ready with his part.
Bringing out the cell phone would be pretty tricky while having to use both my hands to swing from one building to the next, but thankfully after I first placed the phone in my inventory, the system seemed to connect with it and let me make and receive calls through the system panel as long as I was wearing my suit.
Making the call, it takes George nearly ten rings to pick up the phone, and once he does, I am met with a yell loud enough that makes me regret not being able to pull the phone away from my ear.
"I'm busy right now. Tell me what you want and make it quick!"
"It's Spidey, sir. I'm calling to say that I will be bringing Marko over to you soon. Are you ready on your end?" I answer as concisely as possible as he seems pretty busy and stressed out right now.
"Ah? Spiderman?" He takes a moment to clear his throat and calms down before continuing, "I have been preparing for this since Saturday. The boys here are all set and ready to go whenever the two of you arrive."
"Great, then I will force him onto our discussed route in the most direct way possible. Make sure your men clear the streets for me as much as possible." I say, now only less than a minute away from Marko's reported location.
"Roger that, be careful. I was told he is much bigger than the last time we saw him." He says and ends the call, not even waiting for a response. He is probably busy making last-minute preparations.

Note: Sorry, this chapter is shorter than usual. I usually aim for at least 1000 words, but this one is 750.
I have some school stuff to catch up on and still wanted to post something today.
I will put an updated status sheet of Peter and his skills here to leave things off. Maybe I will make an auxiliary chapter that I regularly update for all this.
