Incomplete System in Marvel

A man wakes up in the body of Peter Parker with almost no memories of his previous life. How will he survive in a Marvel Universe that is much more different and dangerous than just the movie universe? A system, of course! But what’s up with this system being in version 0.1 and having almost no features? ------------ Turn off your brain and don't put too much thought into things. I certainly didn't.

When I activated the Dungeon Explorer skill, a window popped up in front of my eyes, reading [Level selection] with the only available option on there being [Floor 1 - Graveyard].

Clicking on it, the world around me immediately gets blurry, and everything starts swirling and twisting around as if I am entering another dimension. The whole thing only lasted for a few seconds, but staring at my surroundings during those few seconds was enough to make me feel light-headed and dizzy.

Once the visual effect stops, I don't even get the chance to look around before I collapse on my knees and start coughing and gagging from the smell of this place.

Like holy crap, it reeks here. It's as if I have just opened up a fridge that had been filled with food yet unplugged from power for over a year.

After recovering a bit and adjusting to the smell, I pull out my mask from the inventory and put it on, which further helps in dealing with the disgusting odor.

I already had most of my costume on since it helps protect me from damage, but I didn't think I would need my mask in here. Clearly, I was wrong.

As expected of a graveyard, the scenery here was extremely gloomy, with the sky colored a smoggy dark purple instead of the standard blue and the ground being just dirt with patches of dead grass scattered around sparsely.

Adding to the gloomy atmosphere were plenty of dead trees that I thought would be easy to move around on. This is especially useful since there are not any buildings here that I could use to web-sling on.

Oh, and did I mention the zombies aimlessly wandering around? Yeah, there were plenty of those as well.

I climbed up onto the nearest tree and started using observe on the crowd around me, quickly concluding that all the zombies were extremely low leveled with most being level 1 and a few rare ones reaching level 2 and 3. For a level 35 like me, they are easy prey, even if they are many in number.

[Common Zombie]

[Level 1]

For a quick test, I attach my webs onto the head of an unexpecting zombie and yank with a small fraction of my strength. I barely feel any resistance as the head comes flying off the zombie, killing it instantly, and I gain a measly amount of experience for my effort.

I could probably just jump down and start indiscriminately killing them for the xp, I don't think they could hurt me no matter how hard they tried, thanks to my stats and the new Iron Skin perk.

Before I do that, though, I bring out something that I received a while ago but never got the chance to try out.

The Silver-Blood Sword.

It dropped from Blackwing when I defeated him, but I never got the chance to try it out since going around and decapitating common criminals probably wouldn't be a good look for me. Here though, I can play around with it all I want.

I jump down the tree and start running from zombie to zombie, cutting each one in half with a single slash. Admittedly my moves are probably pretty amateurish since I have no clue how to actually use a sword, and I'm only killing them so easily thanks to my far superior strength, but hey, everybody has to start from somewhere.

I clear out the whole group like this before going around and picking up all the drops. As expected, there isn't much to gain from these low leveled ones. Each one, on average, dropped about 2 dollars which is a far cry from what I used to make through beating up criminals.

In addition to that, a few dropped something called [Rotten Flesh], which observe told me was a crafting material, and small bottles filled with red liquid identified as [Weak Potion of Health].

------------------------------

[Very Weak Potion of Health]

[Restores 10 health]

------------------------------

Not very useful since it would take me over 100 bottles to fill my health, but at least it's something.

I keep moving from group to group, exterminating all zombies in my way until finally, I come across a small mausoleum with a glowing blue door.

For a minute, I stand there contemplating what to do with this. I had come across plenty of small graves since this is a graveyard and all, but this was the first more significant landmark I have seen so far.

Eventually, I kind of just say, "screw it, what's the worst that could happen," and put my hand against the glowing doorway.

[Floor 2 - Graveyard]

[Condition: Kill 100 Common Zombies]

[Current Progress: 100 / 100]

[Proceed to the next floor?]

[YES / NO]

------------------------------

Oh, so it was the pathway to the next floor, and it looks like I have already completed the task to proceed as well.

I click yes, and as I am transported to the next floor, the swirly thing happens to the world around me once again, almost making me want to throw up. I hope I get used to this soon.

The scenery on floor 2 is exactly the same as floor 1. Unsurprising as they both had 'graveyard' as their name.

The enemies aren't any different either, with only Common Zombies roaming the land. Their levels, however, had increased a little, with the majority being either level 2 or 3 and a few reaching level 4.

I take out my phone from the inventory to check the current time and notice that it only took me roughly 20 minutes to clear the first floor, meaning I have plenty of time to keep going. I want to see how far I could get today, but considering I'm supposed to be sick and sleeping, I should probably get out before May returns home from work.

I take up my sword and charge at the first group of enemies on this floor, time to speedrun.
