The Incompetent Boy

The woman rose the glasses that rest on her nose to her eyes.

She looked around the classroom as she saw the little boys and girls staring at her with curious eyes.

All this time what seem to be occurring was a class. As today is the start of the new school term in which fresh boys and girls join the schools in hope to join a Family or Guild.

When a student graduate they are giving the choice to join a guild that will give them certain missions to carry out or join a family with the only job of protecting their young geniuses.

Although these students were only freshmen they all hold the passion to join a family or guild and the woman who is the form teacher of the class could clearly see this.

She of course is happy seeing this but then her eyes went to the back of the class only to see a boy who have his head laying on his desk.

"Professor Sheshou, but isn't it said that these monsters can evolve. So how will we defeat them all?" A shy girl with black hair covering most of her body asked.

The teacher was about to call out to the boy with his head on his desk when this question came out.

"That is because just as the parasites can evolve, we as well can evolve to become stronger." Not lingering with the boy anymore she answered.

"As freshmen you all will be given a watch that records all your body stats, mana and powers." The students when they heard this became excited as their eyes all shined brightly.

A watch came out of every student desk shocking them all. Technology truly have improved for them to make such a flashy scene.

"The watch will tell us depending on you current stats your rank. Ranging from F- to S+

"As of now since your all freshmen your stats should be ranging from F to D+."

As she said that everyone then began putting on their own watch with excitement written on their faces.

F rank, E Rank, D rank. These were the ranks of the students.

The teacher went around the class looking at the students ranks. From her observation she saw fifteen F rank, nine E rank and five D rank.

Seeing five D ranks the teacher was pleased, she wasn't expecting anyone in her class to be a D rank.

When she reach the girl with black hair, the one who asked the question she became shocked.

"B- B Rank!"

That was the rank of the young girl. At the age of fifteen she manage to reach such a rank. "Doesn't that mean she's a genius?" This question came in her mind when she screamed in excitement knowing she have such a talented girl in her class.

Her scream gained the attention of the other students. When they saw the letter B on the girl watch theirs faces turned into one of jealously and envy with a few having curious looks.

"Young girl what is your name and what family are you from?" The teacher asked, 'Only a girl from a noble family can be so powerful at her age.' She thought.

"Oh. Uhh... Su Haixui. I'm from the Qishi Family." The girl answered proudly yet shyly.

"The-the!" The teacher began to stutter, "The Ancient Qishi Family! The one that bore fruit the most powerful Knights?!"

"Y- Yes." The Young girl answered with a fluster face not expecting the teachers reaction.

The woman became shocked as she never expected to have someone from an Ancient background in her class.

"The Qishi Family!" Not only was the teacher flabbergasted, the students were also.

There are Ten Ancient Family with only three being on the top.

The Qishi Family that consist only of Knights.

The Zhandou Family that only have Mages that specialized in close combat known as Battle Mages.

And lastly the Zhaunjing Family. The most special ones that only have specialized assassins.

For one of the top three ancient families to appear in the class is truly a shock for many.

The excitement last for ten minutes before the teacher finally calmed down as she remembered her job which was to place down the students names and rank on a paper that will be transferred to the principal of the academy.

She wrote Su Haixui name on the paper and when she thought she was finished she was then reminded that there is thirty-one students in the class.

When she looked around she saw the boy who had his head on the desk having his head lean on the wall looking outside. He didn't even touch the watch.

"What is your name?" The teacher walked towards the boy looking at what he was staring at only to see nothing.

'Oh oh! Your in trouble!' A boy that seem to be at the age of ten floated in mid air outside.

"Wei Xu." The boy said with an uninterested tone and indifferent eyes.

"Why haven't you put on the watch?" The teacher have a lot of experience so she did not get angry at his tone of voice.

"No point."

"No point?" The teacher seem to be confused by his decision.

The boy turned his head to the woman and when he did the teacher stepped a few steps back.

When she stared in his eyes she felt like she was staring into the eyes of a beast. Her stepping back was a sign of caution but when she looked back she saw that there were no killing intent in the boys eyes.

"What..." Once again she became confused as no young child should possess such eyes. For his eyes told her that this boy has definitely done horrible things before.

When the young boy saw this he sighed and then placed the watch on his wrist but no reaction was made.

"???" The teacher looked at the watch, seeing that there is no response.

"I see." She shook her head in disappointment as the bell rang ending the class and school.

"You may all leave." She told the students as she saw them rushed out of the class. Yet, the young boy still sat in his chair making it seem like he did not want to move.

The teacher moved her eyes away from the boy as she left the class. But before she did so she wrote something on the piece of paper.
