Arrival of the King

Mousesack closed the door and started walking. He was thinking about what they should do now. They had learned that the man, whose name they didn't even know, cared too much about Ciri.

At the same time, Albus had said that even if they searched for the people behind it, they wouldn't find them, which meant that Albus already knew who was behind it. Why they didn't say that is a completely different matter.

Another thing is that Albus said that even if he doesn't say it himself, 'the Lord will find out soon. That either means that there are spies in the castle or that there is something they haven't figured out yet. He might be finding out about these things magically or some other way.

The subject of Omerta was the one that confused him the most. He thought he understood what she meant. He wasn't too sure, though.

Mousesack knocked on a door and entered without waiting for an answer. Inside were Pavetta, Eist, Duny and Calanthe. On Pavetta's lap, Ciri was awake and looking around. Her emerald green eyes roamed the room. She was an active and curious baby.

Calanthe: "How was your conversation, Rattooth?"

Mousesack: "Mr. Dumbledore was very accommodating, my Queen, he answered all the questions I asked."

Mousesack told them what he and Albus had talked about and summarized what he thought on the way.

Eist: "So you're saying that even if Albus doesn't tell Albus, he will find out soon enough. That might mean we have more spies than we thought."

Mousesack nodded and said nothing. He felt no awareness of magic. As a druid, he was more familiar with the magic in the environment than usual.

Calanthe: "So the old man said we won't find the person behind it. I think like you, he already knows who is behind it."

When Calanthe said this, the expressions on her face showed her anger and reluctance at not getting the name.

Pavetta: "I think you are all missing the most important point."

Everyone suddenly looked at Pavetta.

Duny: "What is this, my dear Pavetta?"

Pavetta started shaking Ciri.

Pavetta: "As Mr. Albus said, how are we going to calm down this man we don't know, the threats and information he has given us, I think we have some idea of what kind of person he is. At the same time, Mr. Dumbledore is not going to give us an empty story."

Everyone was silent for a while and then Pavetta continued speaking.

Pavetta: "That gentleman, according to Mr. Dumbledore, cares too much about Ciri. This may play a role in calming him down. I think the other thing is..."

While this was going on, Ragnar and his men had gathered in Skellige. There were about 100 people in front of him.

Ragnar said: "You children of the sea and the islands, the fervor and fury of the seas promise you riches, power, and fame. Come with me and conquer the countries with me."

 The men: "WOOOOAAAAH!"

These are the men Ragnar has been gathering for a year and now they are his own. Skellige is cold and their climate is not good for agriculture. Just like the north where Ragnar lived before.

Ragnar: 'Ah, this is a great nostalgia.

Elsewhere, on a small island, a strange ship anchored next to the island with a pirate flag on it. There was a festival going on inside the island. For a year now Edward has been collecting a 'transit tax' from passing ships. After all, according to him, it is a perfectly legal business. Some kingdoms or private companies tried to kill him, but all they got was loot. He's not going to send back the riches that have come his way. The ships themselves are very expensive things.

Edward was enjoying his rum in the middle of the island.

Ezio wasn't even in this world.

Altair had been lurking for two days in the middle of nowhere.

Nashi had been frowning ever since he heard the news. Now he's on his way with Varys, Arthur, and special soldiers. He's on his way to Cintra.

For a while, everything was extremely organized in Cintra. A lot of dignitaries and important people were invited for banquets. Merchants, bankers, or army commanders. They were all invited.

Albus wrote books at night and spent almost all of his morning and afternoon playing with Ciri when she was awake. And reading to her while she slept. He was very happy with the way he spent his time.

Almost everything was so peaceful, almost. If it hadn't been for a servant woman and two soldiers hanging whipped at the stake at the entrance to the city, or the Brotherhood being too active lately.

If the city's merchants and even the bread seller had not been killed for the slightest misdeed, everything would have been almost peaceful.

Time passed in this way and the big day came, with no one knowing what was going on behind the scenes.

The Cintra army lined up ceremoniously outside the city and had been waiting since morning. Many of the soldiers cursed inwardly, while many of the officers were nervous.

This was because an old man sat quietly next to them and had been reading a book all morning. As if that were not enough, in the shadow of the door were two members of the brotherhood whose feet they could see.

Since the soldiers did not recognize the old man and did not see the fraternity members with their backs turned, they were calm. They were just bored and irritated by the idle waiting all morning.

Next to the old man was another man asking questions about the book.

After another hour or two like this. The ground began to tremble slightly. Everyone turned their heads up the hill and saw about 50 soldiers. They were all over two meters tall and very big. They were all lined up with different weapons and they were opening up the center.

The soldiers quickly started to set up camp there. Only five people were approaching them.

At the front, there were 2 soldiers dressed differently from the other soldiers. Their clothes were black, unlike the crimson clothes of the other soldiers. They had red veins running through most of them. A red cape hung behind them. The beanies on their heads were in the shape of lions.

At the back was a man riding a black beast, wearing an iron helmet that covered his head up to his neck. His clothes were a leather armor that covered him completely and he had no weapons. Except for the beast, he looked like a commoner.

Next to him, a fat man with a bald head was riding a horse. His clothes were made of yellow silk.

On the other side was a knight riding a horse wearing a dragon helmet. It was very strange that he was not wearing iron armor except for the helmet. His clothes were all leather armor.

The last time they approached, they realized. The beast was a wolf and the man's mask had red tears on it that seemed to have been added later. Two thin horns were protruding from the sides of the helmet. The helmet seemed to be joined by a crown. The eyes themselves were a strange magenta color.

Dumbledore stepped forward. Behind him came the members of the brotherhood. The soldiers and officers felt strange to hear that they were entertaining a king. His army was so small and the man looked so ordinary. Especially since they had never heard of such a country or a king.

Dumbledore: "I did not expect you to come here in person."

A middle-aged voice came from under the mask, scratching at the ears, making everyone feel uncomfortable. To normal people, it felt like fingernails scraping against a chalkboard, an uncomfortable sensation. People like Mousesack heard a completely rough male voice.
