Chapter 1

Waking up early in the morning, our main character, Gale, reluctantly exited his bed to go to the bathroom for his daily routine before going to work.

Looking around, he noticed that the place looked different from his original room. Not only were his furniture and other accessories different, but his perspective had also changed to the point that the room looked a bit 2D-ish.

Leaving the room, he, unsurprisingly, noticed that the house he was currently in was very different from the one he was initially from.

What had happened?

Why was he in a different house?

Had he been kidnapped?

But that wouldn't explain why his vision had changed from perceiving in 3D to seeing in 2D.

Had he transmigrated??

After finding the bathroom thanks to a prolonged search, he entered it to witness himself in the mirror. He immediately noticed that he was too small to peek at it. But luckily for him, he spotted a stool lying on the ground.

After straightening it, he climbed upon the support and finally glanced at his reflection.

*Gasp*

Surprised, Gale yelped, almost falling to the ground in the process. Though fortunately, his reflexes were still going strong, allowing him to catch himself before he could succumb to gravity.

Though, the cause of his surprise would change his life as he knew it.

He had become John Doe from the webtoon Unordinary.

Before he knew it, an armada of memories assaulted his mind, rendering him unconscious.

He would only wake up a few minutes later, after a man called him, urging him to prepare quickly so that he could go to school.

'The dude calling me is probably William Doe, the original John's father,' Gale thought, reflecting on his current predicament.

Of all the people that he could have awakened as it had to be John.

Some might think he was ungrateful because he had essentially transmigrated into a future god tier with arguably the biggest ability potential.

But John was also a late bloomer, causing him to experience the two sides of the coin that was the society he would now live in.

It wouldn't be a stretch to say that the original John was lucky that he survived until he got his ability.

After all, certain people that had suffered bullying were traumatised by it to the point that they would rather commit suicide than live with that trauma or get help.

Deciding to think about it later, Gale quickly got into the shower and got himself ready for school.

On his way to the elementary school, he started pondering again.

According to previous John's memories, he was around 8 years old.

It was around the time when abilities would start to develop.

This meant that he probably had from a few months to maybe a year before the bullying would start.

Since he is stuck in this world forever, he might as well ask his dad how to fight.

The martial arts would do until he got his ability.

Then there was the matter of his identity.

He would have to stop thinking that he was Gale and start coming to terms with the fact that he was now John and no one else to prevent any weird personality disorder and other mental illnesses or disarray.

Maybe he was overthinking this. Though the transmigration part would be kept a secret though. It was obvious why and even if he didn't know, he didn't want to find out.

(A few minutes later)

After he entered through the school gates, his ears picked up the tremendous amount of noise prompted by the student body.

It was a refreshing environment.

After all, when compared with the racket experienced daily by adults, created by the trains, the buses, the cars and sometimes aeroplanes too painful to deal with. Anybody would choose the loud hullabaloo of the schoolyards. Or at least that was what John felt

To him, it was a constant reminder of the harsh reality of being a poor adult that had to go to to work at two jobs and deal with the incessant commotion that was sound pollution.

All this reminiscing on his past life reminded him of a song: Stressed Out.

*Whistles blowing*

'Time to go to class' John thought.

(A few hours later)

'Too simple' he felt that the school subjects this year were simple to the point he could pass anything effortlessly.

But that was to be expected of an adult that had already graduated from elementary school.

After going into the house with his dad and taking a shower, he put on his pyjamas.

He decided to write about the possibilities of his future powers to not forget them since it would probably take him between five to eight years to gain his ability.

Subsequently finishing writing his notes down about all possibilities for his aura manipulation ability, he a slumber.

He would need to cherish being able to that rest like that because of what was to come.
