Dart jumped and dashed away from the path, disappearing around the corner, his bones cracking as his movement were not within the scope allowed by a normal human "untrained" body. Eve hot in pursuit made him give up on the stairs thus dove down outside the railing.

Eve hesitated as she could not believe that house rent could make someone suicide. She cringed in anticipation of the loud thud but was shocked to see Dart turn around in the air and hold on to the railing below.

Skillfully manoeuvring his body to transfer the remaining force from his body to the wall by spreading his legs before contacting with the wall. After orienting himself in that position, he let go of the raining he held to and continued to escape. Upon reaching the ground, Dart rolled on the ground to disperse the force from falling. With his body still disagreeing with how Dart abused it quite loudly, Dart stood and took off towards the other stairs.

Eve eventually recovered from the stunt witch Dart has pulled. Dart was climbing up the other stair towards his room. As a precaution, after Hungry Axe Gang incident with Eve, the doors were replaced with very sturdy ones. If Dart made it to his room, then it is game over as any damages she made would be on her. She has to capture him before he got into his room, and thus she continued, hot in pursuit.

Eve dove down like dart, but unlike dart, she fell straight down, grabbed a clothe line, dislodged one end, using the centrifugal force, ran a bit on the wall and dove at Dart.

Dart was rounding a corner of the stairs when he felt something locked on to him. He turned around only to see that something was blocking the sunlight. His eyes narrowed in awe as he was slammed to the ground.

Eve finally got off Dart, allowing him to breathe as she rubbed her backside which was cushioned by Dart. Turning around, she took Dart by the ear and twisted it like a doorknob. Dart could not help but cringe in pain. He may have been the said ruler, but what ruler could not understand the pain of being led by the ear by a supposed subject!

Getting to a part of the stair that was unevenly hight, Eve sat down, dragging Dart with her to the ground.

"It seems you now know how to have some good time. At first, I was wondering why that green snake(Mustad) would be trailing you. No disrespect, but I did not know you for someone with a pair.

Now I can guess how frustrated you must have made them!" Eve began and ended with laughter, Then her voice turned icy and with a thin smile "I won't complain that the chase was kind of fun, but how do you want to take responsibility?"

Dart suddenly remembered an incident from the previous timeline, but before he could even reply, it was already too late.

"Now you owe me one thing. One day I might ask you to help me with something, then you have to respond agree without complaints understood?" Eve declared.

With the full event now etched in Dart's mind, he would not dare fall for the hidden trap that he fell for many times. He knows that he would face some semblance of hell soon, but he would not let himself suffer needlessly.

"Sure" Dart answered, nodding in affirmation.

Eve's disappointed, let go of Dart's ear and as thus Dart stood up and bowed deeply as he apologised profoundly with extra ramblings which actually was in contrast to what Eve was expecting. Dart was apologizing and retreating and then he turned around and was about to take a step.

"So, where is my rent," Eve asked the escaping Dart corner of both her Eyes and lips twitching as she smiled.

Dart looked behind and saw the smiling lady, the dimples and calming presence a far cry from what Dart knew was truly brewing. Dart still looking behind, and directly at Eve's face proceeded to complete taking a step with the hanging feet that was interrupted by Eve.

"You would not dare," Eve said with a low voice, warning Dart.

As if a whistle is blown, both Dart and Eve ran and again Dart dove from the stairs, this time he dove for the clothing line to aid him to move to his floor which was directly below the place they were at. Dart would have succeeded, but the material of the line was elastic and Eve watched Dart as he Descends to the ground instead of swing, albeit slowly but not very. It ended with Dart ramming himself into a wall about half a foot above the ground and falling unconscious immediately after.

Eve shook her head as if pitying a dead lab experiment that has lost its value as a dead/unwanted specimen, as she worked away, not bothering to check his condition as the steady rising a d falling of his chest was all that interested her.

Meanwhile, in the distance, Hungry gang members saw Dart run around with Eve and retreated into the shadows to disclose their findings as they have been instructed.
