Rebirth

On the colossal St. Ancestral Mountain range, sunlight shined through the gap between the mountains into the deep canyons. On the hillside beside the valley, some snow remained.

Even though it's already the early summer, the snow has yet to melt. The cold here is exceptionally long. The roars of beasts can occasionally be heard.

On the surface of the valley stood a magnificent city.

The world outside of the St. Ancestral Mountains has been occupied by the beasts. The people living in the mountain range have not contacted the outside world for hundreds of years.

The people who live in the city are unsure of the situation of the outside world. It's been recorded that at the most glorious period of mankind, having thousands of Legend rank Fighters and Demon Spiritualists, the humans established many empires in the vast continent, but those empires have been wiped out.

The city, due to being stealthily located geographically, was well preserved from the Age of Darkness. They would occasionally encounter attacks from powerful Snow Wind Beasts within the St. Ancestral Mountains, however, after going through numerous devastating conflicts, the city was be rebuilt again and again.

These motley walls were an indomitable monument.

This city is called Glory City.

At this time in one of the hospitals laid a kid badly injured. The kid seems to 10-12 years old with an bit handsome face which wont stand out unless looked at carefully, but the kid had several scratches and injuries on his face and body .

The doctors were busy reporting the herbs for the kid while the nurses cleaned his wounds and checked his injuries. Outside the ward stood the current lord of the Glory city Ye Zong and along with him stood Ye Xiu , both discussing on something serious.

"Brother Xiu i feel too bad for little Tian, his father died protecting me from the lava toad while we went to explore the ruins in the south of the city. But i never thought that red would directly rush to the ruins hearing his fathers death. " Ye zong looked down remembering his brother who supported him all the time his life.

Ye Zong remembered that his brother wasn't someone from glory city, but someone who arrived here seeking shelter along with his 1 year old son as his previous home was attacked by Demon beasts and his brother could barely make it here. From then his brother swore his loyalty to him.

but seeing that he failed to treat his son properly after his death made him guilty. Understanding what ye zong was feeling, ye xiu said.

"Brother you should go and rest as you have just returned from the exploration and you have faced to many shocks..... ill take care of the kid, no need to worry also as i have called Hu Shuo to take a look just in case, so you dont need to be tensed"

"Well if even Hu Shuo is coming then i dont need to worry that much, just if it is something serious immediately contact me" saying Ye Zong left the hospital.

'i Hope the kid wakes up soon, i really feel sorry for the kid, as he lost his only blood relative in the world. Hope he gets out of this cause this is too much for his little body to handle.' Ye xiu thought as he went out to meet Hu shuo.

Red felt pain spreading throughout his body, he slowly opened his eyes and saw that there was an old man with white beard and full white clothes looking at him in the eyes. The man then took his arm and checked his pulse and said.

"Ye Xiu it seems like the kid is out of danger, just have him rest for some time and he will be fine. it is great luck that he was able to survive such severe injuries.... looks like his genes were strong that his body recovered so quickly. His soul sea also seems to be fine as there are no distortions . i have given him some medicines ask him to take them regularly . As my work is done ill take my leave, i hope you will support me when needed then Ye Xiu" he then left without looking back.

"Thank you Mr. Hu Shuo ill remember your help" said Ye Xiu and looked back a red and then with a warm smile he said

"Kid you are really lucky as Ye Zong was able o save you just in the nick of time... or else you would have died in the hands of that demon beast.i think you should not take much stress and should thing with a calm mind, i know you are sad and frustrated but you cant change things which are beyond your strength, so take it slow , if you need me just inform the nurse, ill try to reach as soon as possible"

Ye Xiu then gave him some elixirs and medicines and left red alone.

Red was in daze as he listened to what ye xiu said.... he also remembered this guy seemed to be the brother of Ye zong , and also the 3rd strongest in glory city as the novel stated.

Then red started to realize that all the pain he was suffering was due to the injuries on his body which seemed to be dressed and the whole room was filled with the smell of old medicines .

'looks like this guy who died had met with an accident and was someone special for this guy to visit him'

as he was thinking red suddenly received too much information and in the stress his brain started to hurt and he passes out.

Red woke up and saw morning sun rays entering the room from the window.

'It seems i slept for quite a while, i guess its fine , i have now sorted out all the info i need. My name is Red Tain 12 years old and seems to be of same age with ye ziyun. also looks like my father died while protecting the city lord and the previous soul in the shock of his father's loss went to search for his father a met with an attack of a demon beast'

"Thank god i was saved by ye zong and looks like the God also transferred my original body to this world also... for what it looks like his kid had almost his organs destroyed.Well better that i wont feel creepy in someone else's body as it would feel weird" red said quietly

'Oops man i cant forget that this is a world of cultivators...hope no one would have heard me'

thinking about it red felt cold sweat on his back.

' I have to be careful so as to not expose myself , and it seems that i have lost my own memories from earth, though i remember the plot and all, i seem to forget about my research within DAWN, well no issues as this world is different and i guess i have got several different information in my mind.... guess its the knowledge of Nie Lie.'

'i hope i get a discharge soon man i can reach home and sort everything out... i also have to reach bronze rank so as to unlock my realm, guess i could also start to study with the alchemist association so i can experiment i apply these things and they wont doubt me that much as it may seem as a distraction inorder to get rid of loneliness in m life... wow nice reason, guess i am all set to begin'.
