Getting Ready

Next Morning everyone woke up a bit late.

Red along with Yang Xin was the one to prepare the breakfast.

Until then everyone had a bath and sat around their usual spot.

After the breakfast everyone got ready for the class.

After cleaning, all of them set out for the institution, while Yang Xin went to the Alchemy Association.

After entering the institution they also parted ways with Chen and Lanrou.

Red and group then attended the class of Shen Xui.

After the class Red headed towards the city lord's mansion as Ye Zong had requested his presence.

"ok guy you have today to prepare and tomorrow so enjoy and inform all those you want to inform also get all the things you need or feel necessary. I have handed over the keys to the girls, if you want to join in tonight also." Red said

"I will be heading to the city hall for an audience with the city lord, so ill directly meet you at home."

Red then headed to the city hall along with Ziyun while others went on their way.

Ziyun wanted to go home to meet her family so she also tagged along with Red.

After reaching the city hall, Red then headed to the place where the guard informed, he would meet the city lord.

After reaching and taking the permission to enter, Red greeted Ye Zong who seems to be busy with some paper work.

"Hello uncle Zong"

"Ohh good that you have arrived Red, i have been waiting for you." Ye zong said in a happy tone.

"Uncle i headed straight here after the class was over." Red said

"Good, Kid you have contributed greatly towards the Glory city by bringing forward such a snake in front of us."

"Even i could have never imagined that someone of this age could be so dangerous. that Shen guy was almost killed in his hands."

"also Red as a reward you can choose anything you want from the treasury. Later along with Ziyun you can visit there and can take whatever you like."

Listening to this Red became excited as he could find that egg which Nie Lie had so though highly of.

" Thank you uncle Zong, I really look forward to obtaining some treasures from there. "

" I know kid, you all want to find something good in there, but let me warn you, those things out there are somethings that even we have less knowledge about." Seeing red excited ye Zong warned him a bit.

" Also kid before that i want to ask you something, i know you have been amassing your team and getting close to Ziyun and other girls, but i warn you to do nothing crazy which would break the balance of the city."

"Suppressing the kids from the sacred family is enough, but don't bully them too much so that they retaliate."

"I know about you and Ziyun a bit as i have been keeping an eye on you both for a while. but let me say, until you are strong enough, don't cross the line." Zong said in a bit caring tone.

"You know even i dont want Ziyun to be married to that trash, but they being a support of the Glory city i couldn't refute. But if you grow strong enough to stand against them i will support you, but till then stay a bit careful." Ye Zong explained in a sad tone as he couldn't do anything to help him.

" Don't worry uncle Zong i will get stronger and kick the sacred family if they interfere between me and my family. " Red said in confidence.

" And kid i also know that you are not only after Ziyun but also along with Huang family girl, also i have heard about the new member from the Xaio family, i dont mind a polygamy but unless you are strong i wont agree with it." Zong warned him.

"Dont worry uncle Zong you know i dont do things before thinking about it, also uncle be careful about the sacred family as they might do something to get back some power afterall they lost quite some strength in the Nie Lie incident." Red suggested, but didn't say much as he knew that it was not the time to talk about it.

" Don't worry kid I know and ill keep an eye out for them, and ill inform the guards so you can visit the treasury with Ziyun any time. " Zong didn't deny Red's suggestion.

"Ok then i will meet up with Ziyun, and uncle did grandpa Mo send any gift for me?." Red asked.

" I really don't know how are you so close to the old man, i could say that you have got the same habit of digging into new things... but for now nothing new from the old man's messenger. If he delivers something ill inform you immediately. "

Ye Zong was really perplex about his dad and this kid's way of thinking. They both were crazy about inventing new things and techniques.

" and uncle i have been promoted in rank and also i have made a major breakthrough in my new ideas, so i will be partying with my friends so please send me gifts.... hehehe..." Red said to Ye Zong with a smile.

"Great kid, i am really happy with you and your this gift isn't enough? you can take items from the treasury but you still need more?" Zong asked with an annoyed face.

"Uncle that was the reward from the City lord.... and this is a gift from you so it is totally different." Red explained with a smile.

"Kid you really know how to reap benefits from your uncle... sigh.... ok ill send you some gifts and also inform father, guess he will be happy." Ye Zong gave in as he knew he couldn't argue on this topic.

"Thanks uncle, and uncle ill visit the treasury in the evening with Ziyun and if i find something good ill give you a share... ok cya.." Red then bade farewell and left.

"This kid is really talented, father really said the truth, i also think he will surpass us all. From the pure energy that was flowing in and out of his body.... even those top talents wont compare with him as he is not even a bronze rank. Kid i really hope you can help Ziyun, ill try my best also to protect and help you. " Ye Zong sighed after Red left.
