CHAPTER 7: UNEXPOSED

Alicia looked at him and then at the meal. "No I can't take this,this is too much" she said as she tried to push the meal back to him

"Well,too late ,you can't return it cause I'm definitely not taking it back" he replied pushing the bag back to her. " Just take it as a welcome to my school gift ok,now please". He begged and after a bit more persuasion, Alicia finally accepted the food with much gratitude.

It was indeed a miracle and besides,she didn't smell any bad vibes from this boy,he looked cool but then that was Alicia's biggest problem,she never felt any negative emotions or energy from anyone. Due to being locked up in the house,she was used to thinking everyone was good and with a pure heart and mind like her which was Mrs Melissa's biggest insecurity about her daughter till date,she didn't know the world and was so used to trusting anyone who smiled at her,she was so meek, innocent and so unaware of the things humans could do to one another,it was as though she'd originated from another planet but then,Mrs Melissa herself had played a great role in making Alicia so unaware of life and her surroundings despite being 18.

At the very early age of 9,due to her outrageous beauty,Mrs Melissa never allowed her daughter to go out alone,not even with her sisters,she was usually made to spend most of her time at home cooking and improving her skills in the kitchen and as far as Alicia knew,she was comfortable with it but at times she felt she could use a bit of freedom even if it was for a little while but being the very meek type,she didn't know how to approach her mum on it.

The only occasions in which Alicia had to come out was when her mum had to go shopping and perhaps Clara wasn't around,she was left unexposed such that her weekly routine had become. Home- school, School- home,it was like that until now,so it wasn't surprising that Alicia couldn't identify when a person had bad intentions but then again,the guy looked cool.

"Sooo,what hall of residence you stay" Ryan asked looking serious this time

Alicia sipped from her juice before replying. " Hall 3". And Ryan's face was quick to drop and his expression became sour as he looked at her in disbelief.

"Hall 3" he said after her. " B-but why Hall 3" he asked unable to believe what she'd just said.

Well, Alicia being a very transparent figure didn't hesitate to tell him the reason. " Well Hall 3 was actually the most affordable hostels available and also I don't think it's that bad,it's neat spacious and airy,what more do I need and also my roomies seem to be really nice" she explained but all Ryan did was look at her with the eyes that said. ' if your parents could afford the heavy tution of Montgomery,then they obviously could have gotten you a better hostel' or weren't they aware of the things that happened in that hostel!!!. The most dreaded hostel of all girls hostels in Montgomery.

Ryan couldn't even begin to name the things associated with that hostel,it was supposed to be a good hostel,yes but then the girls themselves had gone ahead to give it a bad reputation and not just that,there were also many other reasons,1 was because of the security,the security of Hostel Hall 3 girls was actually the weakest in the whole of Montgomery and many girls were known to have been assaulted and harassed in their rooms by bad boys who flew past security in the night.

The second reason was because of the noise,the girls of hostel hall 3 were just too loud for anyone's liking and lastly was because Hall 3 was the den of lesbian girls infact it was their hub and that was why it was quite surprising to Ryan that after all these, Alicia still went ahead to book such an hostel,he was sure she was unaware but he didn't want to tell her to get her scared,she looked like a good girl and he was sure she would do everything to protect herself but then,he was worried.

Ryan was still lost in thought when his watch beeped twice and jolted him back to earth,he glanced at his watch and he cursed,he had to be somewhere urgent. Hesitantly standing up,he looked at Alicia's meal but she wasn't done yet because he'd have so much loved to drop her off but he couldn't possibly ask her to leave her meal to come with him,no.

Ryan could only sigh as he brought out his phone. "erm Alicia,I have to be somewhere now,so how about". Pushing his phone towards her. " You give me your digits so we couldn hang out some other time" he said smiling, flaunting his good looks.

Alicia took hold of the phone carefully so not to drop it after seeing the glass back,she knew this phone was costlier than she could imagine. After pondering for a second or two, Alicia inputted her phone number after all it's better she starts making friends now to familiarize herself with this place Asap.

Alicia was so engrossed in typing her digits that she didn't even feel Ryan's dreamy,yet sexy gaze on her,she was indeed all a man could ask for in this life,a first class pretty face,a maddening shape,a sweet voice,rare eyes, name them... She got them all!!

As soon as Alicia was done typing,she handed the phone back to Ryan who immediately saved it.

He glanced at her unleashing his killer smile " ok then Alice,I'll see you around soon,take care okay"

"Yeah you too" Alicia meekly responded with her lovely voice that got Ryan bitting hard on his bottom lip.

He beamed and with one last glance at her,he walked towards the exit door.
