If anyone asked her what the mornings were, she would say it was the best moment of her life because they were the times, she got to greet her parents, a smile on her mirror as she complimented herself and say her morning chants.
This Sunday morning was not that different from the ones she normally has when she is back home with her family or even alone.
"The popcorns are ready, Maya." Her father shouted from the kitchen.
"In a minute," Maya shouted from her bedroom.
"You have been saying that for the past thirty minutes, what are you doing?" Brent shouted.
"I am coming, Brent, I am coming, give me a minute," Maya said.
She was writing in her diary. She went through it and smiled.
Dear Diary,
Hello there, my dad said I shouldn't worry and go to the school and demand. Oh, scratch that. He said I should go to the school and ask. But hey, let me give it a minute and wait, I am not impatient.
