12 ch 12

They all spent the next couple of days in preparation to take the skywalker family to tatooine. Senator Organa wanted to pay Carl credits for what he has done but Carl informed him he really had no use for credits. The senator asked if there was anything he wanted. Carl was able to get an R3 series droid called R3-D4, and some construction droids, ten in total, that will help out at home and in the CIS facilities. Five of the droids seemed to be heavy lifters with different tools built in and the other five seamed to be droids that could float to different sections to work finer detail on things with the different tools they had hidden away. The senator wondered were Carl would store everything so Carl thought it would be good to show them how he capsules things. He instructed to put them all in a container and when that was done he took out one of the capsule devises, stuck it on, pressed the button and *poof* the container with all 10 droids is now a capsule that Carl caught with the force and then caught in his hand.

Obiwan rubs his beard in thought after the display and comments, "I must say, that is indeed clever. Not only do you save space but Even if your ship is searched no one would think your carrying anything in those 'capsules'" Carl blinked at that, he didn't think about using them to hide things.

Once they had everything loaded in padmes and carls ships for the Skywalker family's relocation everyone was almost ready. They were just waiting on the Skywalker family themselves. They were taking quite a bit of stuff but that's probably due to the senator being friends with Padme. They had a few droids to help them on the planet, as well as maintenance droids to keep up the home that the construction droids they brought will make for them. Carl just hoped they won't make it to over the top to stand out. Carl didn't bother to capsule any of this cause it will be dropped off on tatooine.

After so long with Carl, Rex, Ahsoka, Yoda, and Senator Organa waiting in the hanger bay they would all take off in, the main doors to the bay opened revealing Padme holding her two babies in a floating wheelchair with obiwan pushing her and Anikin in a similar wheelchair, still not use to his new legs, but this one he's controlling himself with a lever by the armrest. Anikin has new robotic limbs covered by the clothes he is wearing but you could see the robotic hands and feet if you looked.

Anikin upon seeing Carl motioned his chair to go to him and after reaching him he took carls hand and shook it, "I can't thank you enough for saving Padme." He says with emotion and Padme is push beside him with a smile on her face and also thanked Carl for all he has done.

Carl embarrassed by the praise replied, "really it's no big deal."

Anikin cuts him off, "but it is. I don't know were I would be right now if you hadn't come." Carl knew but he wasn't going to say it out loud now cause there's no point. "If there's anything I can do name it." Anikin told Carl.

Carl thinks then tells Anikin, "just live and protect your family. Don't delve into the darkness like before…..and listen to Padme at all times." Everyone laughed at the last part Carl said except Anikin who had an embarrassed face, but nodded none the less.

Before everyone departed yoda had a few words, "in exile, I must go. Meet again, may the force will." He then turns to carl and after a moment of thought he took out his lightsaber and in front of everyone's eyes used the force to lift and deconstruct the lightsaber removing the kyber crystal inside before reconstructing it. He then floated the crystal over to Carl, "needing this, I will not. Help in your travels, i hope it will." Carl graciously received the crystal and placed it in one of his vest pockets to not lose it.

Ahsoka after geting out of her shock to yodas actions then asked, "where will you go master?"

Yoda answered her, "secret, that must be kept. If time permits, see each other again, we will. Till then, may the force be with you all." And with that he got in his tiny Star fighter and took off to Dagobah, only known to Carl at the moment.

After yoda was gone Obiwan assisted Padme and Anikin onto there ship. Before Carl, Ahsoka, and Rex boarded the ebon hawk Senator Organa stopped Carl, "you can send the coordinates to the first CIS factory to the cruiser right outside the station. They can go on ahead while you go to tatooine and get started on geting things ready for your arrival."

Carl thought on it and agreed it would save time and told the senator he would transmit the coordinates right away before heading to tatooine.

After saying there final goodbyes Carl, Ahsoka, and Rex boarded the ebon hawk. On the way to the cockpit they could see the R3 droid Carl got running around the ship to get use to its systems. Upon entering the cockpit HK-47 remarks, {master I see no use for that inferior model of droid. All it has done is run around the ship and getting into the systems.} HK complains.

Carl then asked, "has R3 messed up any of the systems?" HK-47 shook his head no. "Then it's fine. R3 is just getting use to the ship nothing to worry about and R3 is to help out on the ship so that you can come help me with combat if I need."

HK-47 paused at this then happily said, {I think this new crew member is a fine addition. I will make sure it knows all about the ship in no time master.}

Carl chuckles at HK-47s change of heart about R3-D4. He then told HK-47 that they would be heading to tatooine and HK gave his confirmation as they both started the ship and maneuvered out together out of the hangar bay.

After exiting following behind padmes ship, Carl could see the small cruiser the senator was talking about. Carl looked at it and thought it looked similar to the ship at the beginning of a new hope that's being chased by the empire. Carl quickly transmitted the coordinates to the first CIS base to them and the ship maneuvered to leave shortly after.

At this time padmes ship has gone into hyperspace on the way to tatooine and HK then pulls the lever to go into hyperspace themselves to follow. After entering hyperspace HK informed everyone it would take a day to reach tatooine so everyone went to do there own things till they arrived. Ahsoka went and commandeered carls room again, Rex went to sleep in the other room, HK stayed in the cockpit cause he had nothing better to do, and Carl seeing that Ahsoka stole his room again went and hung out with R3 and to see about trying to understand that droid language.

After so long HK informed everyone over the intercom that they were about to exit hyperspace so everyone reconvened in the cockpit as they were exiting hyperspace. As they looked out the viewport they could see padmes ship ahead of them and the desert planet they were on approach to. After following padmes ship for a bit through the desert sands of tatooine they could make out a small house like structure with what looks like a pit next to it revealing more stuff inside. It's the classic home that Luke Skywalker grew up in originally.

(Sorry if I'm not good at describing the home but if you have seen Star Wars you know what it is.)

They all landed by the house and they all exited there ships. As they exited the family Vernon and Beru came out to greet them and see what was going on. Obiwan, Anikin, Padme with her babies went to go talk with them as Carl, Rex, and Ahsoka stayed behind by the ships as they didn't really know them and didn't want to intrude.

Not long after it seamed everyone came to an agreement as Vernon and Beru help Anikin and padme with her babies into there home and obiwan was making his way back to Carl, Rex, and Ahsoka. As Obiwan reached them he informed them on what would be going on, "they agreed to let them stay and build a home next to theres. We just mainly need to unload everything and oversee the construction. Once that's done we should be good here and you can be on your way." Everyone nodded to that and got to work. Obiwan went to padmes ship and got the construction droids they brought to get to work. First one droid floated over to Vernon's and Berus house and started scanning everything going in the pit all around. After it was done it went over to the other construction droids Obiwan brought out and conveyed some orders and got to work by moving a good distance from the house and started digging.

Carl and the rest got to work unloading all the stuff they brought for the skywalker family. Obiwan instructed them to place them by the droids doing construction and they would take care of it. By the time they got everything unloaded there was a pit dug out and the droids were already taking things out of the crates they brought to work some more. Obiwan informed them it would probly take a day or two for the droids to be finished so all they had to do was wait.

Carl during this time asked both Obiwan and Ahsoka to explain to him on the construction of a lightsaber. They both thought on it and both remembered yoda giving Carl his lightsaber crystal so for the next day they did their best to impart their knowledge about constructing a lightsaber to him. Carl got it for the most part, he would have to actually try now but sadly he doesn't have the parts.

Obiwan went to padmes ship and came back with some lightsaber parts and gave them to Carl, " these will do you better than they will me." Obiwan told him as Carl accepted the gift.

Carl took the parts that Obiwan gave him along with some other parts he found lying around the ship along with a blaster pistol from the crate he had in the storage. Carl had the idea to go with the lightsaber style Ezra Bridger in Star Wars rebels did with having a lightsaber type blaster. It took almost the remaining time they had on tatooine, and many corrections from Ahsoka and obiwan, but Carl managed to construct his own lightsaber. It almost looked like a typical lightsaber but a half thick metal ring going from the top to the bottom of the lightsaber covering the knuckles with what look like the nozzle of a blaster in the middle. Where the index finger would be you could see a trigger meant for firing. There seemed to be a switch on the side to switch it from lightsaber mode to blaster mode, and finally a button where his thumb will be to activate the lightsaber proper.

Obiwan asked to see the lightsaber Carl built and upon inspection Obiwan comments, "it's certainly unique. I can see the thought process and the versatility this blade will give you." He finished saying as he gave it back to Carl.

Ahsoka playfully punches his arm, "now turn it on, I want to see how it looks."

Carl laughed a bit and took a step back from the both of them and finally ignited his saber. Upon activation a green blade came forth from the lightsaber, Carl adjusted the length and stood admiring it for a bit before turning it back off. "Now only thing to test is the blaster function." Carl said as he was making his way outside followed by Ahsoka and Obiwan.

Carl exited the ship and looking around. you could see the droids were almost done with construction cause there were two identical houses not far from each other, one being the original house and the other being the new home for the Skywalker family. Apparently they are just finishing up a few interior things.

Carl proceeded to grab a crate and put three junk objects on it. Carls actions grew some attention as his audience increased from just Ahsoka and obiwan to Rex, and Anikin who during this time got use to walking on his robotic legs. Carl got a little nervous due to the audience but he calmed himself down and took some distance away from the objects and proceeded to aim with the lightsaber in blaster mode. After a sec Carl squeezed the trigger three times and three laser shots came out and pierced through each object no problem like a lightsaber should. Carl pressed another switch and pressed the trigger three more times and ring of energy came out and knocked all the objects off the crate, obviously a stun mode.

Anikin was the first to react, "that's amazing, can I see your lightsaber for a second?" Anikin asked and Carl saw no problem with it. After Anikin received the lightsaber he started inspecting it, "very creative. Should have thought of it myself." He said as he handed it back to Carl.

After they all shared a laugh the construction droid came up to obiwan letting him know the construction was complete. After that bit of news obiwan turned to Carl, "Then I guess that mean you'll be on your way." Getting a nod from Carl he turned to Ahsoka and Rex, "your going with him?" To there nod as well he merely smiles, "I see. Well I wish you safe travels and may the force be with you."

Anikin shakes carls hand again, "again, I can't thank you enough."

Carl waved him off, " really it's fine. Just try and stay on the right path, find true balance. In fact." Carl had an idea. He turned around and ran to his ship yelling, " be right back" everyone was a bit stunned by what Carl just did but waited patiently and after a bit Carl can be seen coming back but this time holding a purple holocron. Upon seeing it everyone's eyes widen. Carl gets in front of anikin and motions for Anikin to take it, "here, this should be able to help you."

Anikin raised his arms in the negative, " I can't take that from you."

Carl shrugged, "I have all the recordings backed up on my ship and I've gotten most of the use I'll get from it at this point. It will help you more than me." Carl gestured again for him to take the holocron.

Anikin graciously took the holocron from Carl, "thank you."

Carl waved it off, " it's not a problem." He then turned to Ahsoka and Rex, "we should get going." They nodded and said their goodbyes and departed from tatooine on their way to the first CIS factory.

After they left the planet and went into hyperspace they communicated with the ship that went ahead of them to let them know they were on their way. The captain of the other ship let Carl know they were nearly done with packing up all the droids into shipping containers and would be done upon his arrival. Carl thanked him and let him know to not load anything yet till he arrived so that he can capsule everything. The other captain agreed and cut communication. It wouldn't take long to get to the planet they were on their way to.

After so long they exited hyperspace and in front of them was a planet with a red surface and blue water, "what planet is this?" Rex asked

Carl checked the data log, "apparently the CIS discovered this planet on the edges of the unknown region, in fact all The factories are on planets by the unknown region and they really didn't bother with a name just calling the planets 'zeta 1,2,3' and so on. This planet is zeta 5. " Carl finished saying as they made their way to the planets surface to meet up with the first team that came.

On approach they could make out the facility in the distance and the cruiser was parked next to it with people going around. There were many shipping containers that Carl assumed to be filled with droids along with rows of tanks and troop trooper vehicles. They landed right next to the cruiser and everyone exited the ship.

After exiting they were greeted by the captain of the cruiser and was informed that all the droids that were already completed have all been put into shipping containers like Carl wanted. Carl learning this fact asked the captain to take him to a container with B1 battle droids.

After Carl was brought to the container he started to fiddle with the bracelet he had. In carls spare time he has looked into the device on his wrist and figured out how to make more hoi-poi capsules. Carl pressed a button on one side as he pointed his wrist to the container. A scan came from it scanning the container and its contents. Then after the scan was done, tiny black nano bots came out and seamed to devour the container and after a minute a 4 foot high and 4 foot wide crate was left in its place. Carl went and opened it revealing it full of the hoi-poi devices Carl has been using. Carl showed them all how to use them and after carls showing they all got to work capsuling everything as Carl converted a few more containers of B1s. Carl also instructed some droids to start stripping the facility of all the metal and put it in containers, he can use that at home for something for sure.

It only took half the day for everything to get capsuled and Carl was able to capsule some buildings fully intact. The great thing about getting a fully intact buildings is that they're all air tight, meaning he can use them as a start up base in space hopefully.

The droid he was able to get were 4 contacted of B1 battle droids 100 compacted in each crate. 6 containers of B2 battle droids with 100 compacted in each. 6 containers of droidikas with 100 compacted in each. 6 containers with commando droids with 100 compacted in each. 10 troop transports that can hold up to 50 B1 and B2 battle droids. 4 shuttle transports, and a lot of data and schematics on the droids and how there constructed. He also kept some single droids that didn't fit into the containers like the 10 droidikas, 5 B1, 5 B2, and 5 commando droids that Carl capsuled individually so he can take them out later without a big container.

With everything capsuled, everything only needed a few boxes which took no space at all. Hard to think those few boxes of capsules contained over a thousand battle droids.

With everything done both ships got ready to make their way to the next destination. Carl sent over the coordinates to the cruiser and they were on their way.

It didn't take long for both ships to make it there. It was a similar planet to the one they left but instead of just a red surface there was some green as well probably due to plant life. They all made their way down and found the factory. This one was for Star fighters so they could see all the droid ships lined up. After both ships landed everyone got to work. Good thing Carl already converted a bunch of Hoi-poi capsules cause the droid fighters couldn't really be stored in containers so all the fighters had to be capsuled individually. It took almost two days but with everyone working together everything got capsuled. Carl made out with 500 droid fighters, 500 droid bombers, and a few more shuttle transports.

After they were all done gutting the place everyone was about to head out when the captain of the other ship told Carl that he would be heading back to alderan. When Carl asked why he informed Carl senator Organa has issued for there return cause the emperor has decreed he's going after the remnants of the CIS meaning they will most likely come for the factories there going for.

Carl thanked him for the information and bid him farewell. Once Carl made it back into the ebon hawk he informed Rex and Ahsoka on what's going on and to get their opinion on if they should continue. Ahsoka and Rex both agreed that they probably shouldn't push their luck. They already have a decent amount from the two factories. Plus they have the design schematics for all the droids, vehicles, and fighters the CIS can make so they feel they did enough.

With everything decided Carl glanced at the bracelet on his wrist. '99% charged. Any day now it will be time to go.' Carl thought to himself. He then informed Rex and Ahsoka that they will go to the first planet he arrived here on to wait out the remaining time. With everyone's agreement they all set off to the first planet Carl came to in this reality.
