The Superwoman Next Door

After listening to Kara's story, Russell realized that Kara's experiences were significantly different from what he remembered.

In his memory, Kara's escape pod was impacted by the explosion of Krypton and was sent to the "Phantom Zone," a region of frozen time and space, due to the shockwave of the explosion.

After being trapped in the Phantom Zone for 24 years, she finally arrived on Earth.

Upon arriving on Earth, she was rescued by the already-heroic Superman, Clark, who was still a 12-year-old boy at the time, and he entrusted her to the care of the Danvers family.

This is why Kara's Earth name became Kara Danvers.

After living on Earth for 12 years, Kara became the secretary to Cat Grant, the female CEO of "CatCo Worldwide Media" in National City.

However, one night, Kara's adoptive sister Alex, who had no blood relation to her, was on a plane that was about to crash. Kara revealed her superpowers for the first time, saving the plane and landing it safely on water.

From that day on, she embarked on the path of being a superhero, protecting the city and fighting crime.

But clearly, the Kara standing before him, dressed in a blue crop top and a blue miniskirt, was not the same as the Kara he remembered.

Although Kara still experienced being trapped in the Phantom Zone, according to her account, she was already 16 years old when she got stuck there.

Excluding the time spent in the Phantom Zone, she was now 19 years old, having just reached adulthood a year ago.

Furthermore, because Superman Clark died at the hands of Doomsday, her experiences after coming to Earth were entirely different from what Russell remembered.

She wasn't adopted by the Danvers family and didn't become the secretary to media mogul Cat Grant.

When she arrived on Earth, she quickly found her cousin, Superman Clark Kent.

Diana understood Russell very well.

Kara didn't know what kind of apartment Diana was talking about but assumed it was a regular apartment and agreed directly.

The apartment Diana mentioned wasn't anywhere else; it was right next door to their current apartment.

The Skytower, where Russell and Diana currently lived, was a luxurious apartment building.

The building had a total of 28 floors, with two units on each floor.

Russell and the others lived on the top floor, the 28th floor.

The apartment next door used to belong to a female entrepreneur.

Two months ago, this female entrepreneur had financial difficulties and chose to sell the apartment.

Russell, ever helpful, bought the apartment to improve the living environment.

His idea was simple: he planned to knock down the wall between the two apartments and turn their current living space into one huge open area.
