Neither Russell nor Diana expected Kara to make such an unusual move.
Given Diana's reaction, she could have easily avoided Kara as she lunged towards her.
But for some reason, when Kara rushed towards her, Diana didn't do that. Instead, she allowed Kara to jump into her arms and held her tightly.
Russell didn't have much of an objection to Kara leaping into Diana's arms. After all, Kara was also a woman.
However, upon seeing Kara hug Diana, he couldn't help but feel a slight hint of unhappiness.
After hugging Diana for about five or six seconds, Kara finally released her embrace.
Then, she said to Diana, "Sorry about that, I got a bit too excited."
"I'm Kara Zor-El, the cousin of Superman, Kal-El!"

"Who are these two?"
Although Tony knew that Diana was Russell's girlfriend, the Diana he had seen was dressed in modern clothes, looking like a Hollywood star.
The Diana before him was wearing a tight-fitting battle armor, equipped with the Lasso of Truth, the Sword of Hephaestus, the Bracelets of Submission, and the Aegis of Athena, resembling a mythological warrior goddess.
Although Diana hadn't concealed her identity, Tony found it difficult to equate this warrior-like Diana with Russell's girlfriend.
"This is my girlfriend, Diana. And this is her compatriot, Kara."
Russell gave a simple introduction.
He didn't reveal the true identities of Diana and Kara to Tony.
"Oh! Hello, I'm Tony Stark!"
Tony opened the faceplate of his helmet and looked at Diana and Kara, speaking slowly.
Before Tony could continue asking questions, Russell turned to Diana and Kara, saying, "Let's talk in my office!"
Diana and Kara didn't object and nodded in agreement.
"Tony, you can head back. I'll compensate for the damages to Stark Tower."
After saying that, Russell took the lead and flew towards the Octopus Monster headquarters.

Upon returning to the office, Russell immediately deactivated his armor and brought Diana and Kara to sit on the guest sofa.
Russell and Diana sat together, while Kara sat across from them.
As soon as they sat down, a relaxed expression appeared on Kara's delicate, fair face.
However, soon after, her brows furrowed.
The strange red lightning had caused her significant injuries.
After relaxing, she immediately began to feel the pain emanating from various parts of her body.
Observing the pained expression on Kara's face, Diana lightly elbowed Russell, giving him a meaningful look.
Though Diana didn't say a word, Russell instantly understood her intention.
After living together for so long, if they didn't have this kind of unspoken understanding, he'd be quite embarrassed.
"I can heal your injuries, but I need to touch your body. Is that okay?"
Russell asked Kara as he controlled his right arm to create white tendrils.
To make Kara more comfortable, he modified the appearance of the white tendrils, making them appear less like the tentacles of certain creatures.
Kara glanced at the white tendrils emerging from Russell's right hand and then at Diana sitting beside Russell. Eventually, she nodded.
"Yes!"
Upon hearing Kara's agreement, Russell didn't hesitate. He controlled the white tendrils to wrap around Kara's right wrist.
Healing!
As the white tendrils coiled around Kara's wrist like a bracelet, Russell activated his extraordinary regenerative ability.
However, just as he initiated his regenerative power, he felt an unprecedented amount of pressure.
How could this be?
While healing others did consume his own energy, he had never felt such a strong drain before.
Even when he healed the Hulk right after drawing blood and performing experiments, he hadn't experienced such a noticeable depletion.
Was this the power of a Kryptonian's physiology?
Indeed, it was extraordinary!
Although the energy consumption was substantial, it still fell within his limits.
After nearly a minute, he withdrew the white tendrils coiled around Kara's wrist and sighed quietly.
Although the duration of the healing wasn't very long, he had used up almost half of his regenerative power to thoroughly heal Kara's injuries.
"Are you okay?"
Seeing Russell's fatigued expression, Kara asked with concern.
"I'm fine, just a bit drained!"
Russell smiled and replied slowly.
His energy consumption was much more than just a bit.
The regenerative energy he used to heal Kara's injuries could have nearly healed a critically injured General George a thousand times over.
"Thank you!"
Kara expressed her gratitude to Russell with a serious expression.
"Don't mention it!"
After fully healing Kara's injuries, Russell didn't waste any time and immediately asked about how Kara came to this world and what had happened to her since arriving on Earth.
Perhaps because Diana was present, or maybe due to Russell healing her injuries, Kara didn't hold back and recounted everything she knew in detail.

Diana changed the subject, possibly because she wanted to avoid discussing the red lightning in front of Kara.
Kara didn't hesitate and began her narrative again.
Firstly, Kara was indeed Superman Kal-El's cousin.
When Krypton was destroyed, the two of them separately escaped from the planet in spacecrafts.
If all had gone according to plan, Kara would have taken care of her cousin Kal-El and watched him grow up on Earth.

When her ship exited the Phantom Zone and arrived on Earth, her cousin Kal-El, who she should have looked after as a child, was already a man in his thirties, and he was dead.
Thus, the situation of her older cousin being younger than her occurred.
According to Kara, she had arrived on Earth three years ago.
After arriving on Earth, she found her cousin lying in a coffin.
Later, while operating as a supergirl in Metropolis, she got to know Batman, Bruce Wayne.
From Bruce, she learned about Diana's story.
