"Lucy I got you. You sit at the window first then extend your legs outside.", Josh instructed me for we are now finding a way to get out.

We walked in tip toe, so afraid that mom might hear us. The night was silent and with mom being a light sleeper, I know that she can wake up easily just by hearing a snap.

I even looked at the clock and saw that it's already one o'clock in the morning. I wonder, why is the guy upstairs not making any hush? Is he even there? Is he asleep?

"Lucy!", Josh called my attention.

He is reaching out his hand so I accepted it. I sat down by the window and crossed my left leg into it. The next thing I did is lift my right leg and crossed it over the window.
