Sweet home 2

I entered the kingdom of Austria, my mother's home her happiness was here she grew up here.

I was riding the horse to the palace I walked through the villages, my fancy clothes, jewellery and the royal guards had people notice who I was..they all stood and gave their respect.

I arrived at the palace in front of the long stairs, I got off my horse and aunt Portia was there waiting for me, uncle Charles, cousins and some maids.

aunt Portia bowed and rushed to hug me tight in her embrace.

yes, I've missed this warmness.

aunt Portia: "what a wonderful surprise! how did you come here...where is the queen's carriage?? as soon as I heard I made them prepare your mother's room, your grandparents are going to be happy about this! how was your coronation day, have you been eating well, how is prince Philip..????"

i: "auntie am fine everything is okay"

she cried and hugged me once more.

"sorry I wasn't there sweetie"

I held on.

"It's ok... it's okay" I tried to comfort her and pretend that I've got everything under control when it was far away from that.

they greeted me warmly!

aunt Portia took me up the stairs.

"come ...let's put you in something more comfortable your grandparents slept before knowing you would be here..they will be happy when I wake them up!"

"no, no pls don't wake them up. I have a week here with you...how is grandma now??"

"aah..no progress all she thinks about now is you. I would start feeling jealous! she would be happy about meeting you"

she smiled at me.

"you should eat first and then go to sleep immediately it must have been a long journey..we will have a celebration this whole week queen Victoria is in Austria!" my energetic aunt said.

....

in front of the palace doors

"prince Philip pls control your timber...pls withstand it for a bit more!" sir lansceter was trying to calm angry Philip.

"they have here in Austria the biggest drink hall let's get some free time, no one would notice, we're tired and so she is, she won't get out of her room and we can have some for ourselves.." sir lansceter continued.

he got on his horse and so did Lansceter they both got out of the palace and headed to the hall.

....

"so this is my mother's room??" I opened my mouth.

I went all around the room checking it..it was luxurious and bigger than the one she had in France.

"it was your great grandfather, your grandpa king Francis gifted it to your mother when she was 13"

she left me to check the room while she looked in pride at me but with sorrowful looks

"...I would've spent the night with you but I have to stay with your grandmother...let me see you in bed first

"

"auntie I've grown up....I'll see those books and sleep"

I said pointing at the fancy library in that large room.

she sighed.

"then don't stay up too late, I have to go now".

she kissed me and went out.

I rushed and locked the door behind her!

so this is the room!

I've counted every step from the palace entrance I got every direction right and here it went easily...I've made sure to memorise some papers, luckily I was brought here easily.

I got out the book from under my gown...I took off my necklace and opened the book, no time for sleeping now which I didn't feel at all, I headed to the door where I started counting again.

"7North....3 to the right ...4....then 8...."

"then..5.....here..and....okay that's 3....and....."

After counting my steps all over the room I got to this spot then I stopped confused, I no longer understand the directions how am I supposed to walk forward when there is a wall in front of me??

there is nothing that could allow me to cross the wall unless I'm a ghost!

maybe...?

I sat and looked at the rocky floor...there is nothing either?!!

I got really angry no no no!!!

but how is it continuously on the map!!

I held the book with my two hands I stared, is there something I don't understand?? is there something I've missed??

I started flipping the papers reading again and again holding the necklace in the same hand I used to flip the papers but the necklace fell from my hand I couldn't concentrate on both hands on anything else than the book.

I tried to hold it but it still fill under one edge of the rocky floor! luckily those chains didn't go there so I got the necklace back.

I put the necklace and the book by my side and started thinking of how the necklace fell under the edge of this piece of that rocky part of the floor.

I started to interfere further with my hands. then I was able to get this piece of the rocky floor out of the floor!

but nothing was under it except for its place where it fits, ants, spiders and dust!

I hit this gap with that piece of rocky floor in my hand I was angry!...but the floor where I was standing started separating to make stairs to a secret passage beneath the room!

but the sound of rocks separating and forming a stair couldn't be unhearable!

maids started knocking they were frightened of the high sound they'd just heard, had anything happened to the queen?? they couldn't help but wonder!! they wanted to enter but I already had the door locked!

"Queen Victoria...pls open the door, are u okay???"
