Fool of the Society
Beatrice was sitting comfortably in her room, a cup of hot tea in her hand, as she read the latest letter from her dear friends.
They always kept her updated on the latest news and gossip from the society circles that she was no longer a part of since the scandal broke out and because she was punished by her brother by confiment.
As she read on, her friends had informed her that Duchess Alicia had been excluded from every social event and gathering, even those she had previously hosted. It was as if she had become an outcast, shunned by everyone in society.
"Finally she got what she deserved," she leaned on her chair.
But again, why did no one talk about Edward? It was really weird for her. 'Is that because Edward is a prince and a royal family?' she thought to herself.
But it was still not fair. He should at least get the taste of his own medicine.
