[Not] The End of Revenge
Beatrice felt a glimmer of hope in her heart. Maybe Arthur had seen something that could clear her name and expose the truth about her mother's affair.
She then approached him and said "Arthur, please tell them what you know," Beatrice pleaded, her eyes locked on her brother's.
Arthur chuckled, enjoying the attention. "Oh, I know quite a lot, Beatrice. For instance, I know that Edward was running around the Devonshire manor naked, looking like a madman."
Gasps and whispers filled the room as the nobles looked at each other in shock.
"And who do you think dragged him back to the room with Duchess Alicia?" Arthur continued a sly smile on his face. "None other than me!"
As soon as Arthur's words echoed through the room, the nobles burst into laughter. Even Richard couldn't help but crack a small smile.
