It took Theodore and Roxanne a long time to reach the 15th floor of their apartment. By the time they arrived, their bodies were already sweaty.
Theodore stared at Roxanne for a while, checking up on each other, and then they chuckled when they saw that they were no different.
"We'll have to go through this agony if we want to transport the goods from below," Theodore said with a tired sigh.
"Can't we use the elevator?" Roxanne collapsed on the floor near her apartment door, feeling like her legs were numb from having to climb stairs while carrying so much stuff like this.
"Even if we wanted to, the electricity here is cut off," Theodore replied, doing the same as Roxanne.
Theodore sat down on the floor opposite Roxanne. He took off his backpack and began to take out the items inside, remembering that Roxanne's two boxes of instant noodles were with him.
"Don't forget your instant noodles." Theodore placed the two cartons before him so Roxanne could take them.
"I almost forgot that my instant noodles were with you," Roxanne replied, smiling happily when she saw her instant noodle boxes.
"Is it okay if I take two of the solar panels we got?" Theodore asked about the division of the solar panels they managed to get.
"Of course, we got them together, so you're entitled to half of them." Roxanne also didn't need that many solar panels for her house, so she had no problem sharing them with Theodore.
A moment later, the door of Roxanne's apartment opened, and Geoffrey's figure could be seen from there; he smiled happily when he saw there was the figure of his older sister and also Theodore, who was resting in front of their apartment door.
"You're finally home too, sis!" Geoffrey had been worried all day, waiting for Roxanne to come home, but they hadn't come home until late at night.
Geoffrey regretted not going with Roxanne and Theodore. If he had known that he would be haunted by this kind of worry, he would have preferred to go with them to loot the supermarket.
"Did we go too long?" Since Roxanne was outside the house, she didn't feel that they were gone too long.
"Yes! I've been waiting for you all this time." Geoffrey spoke with annoyance.
But Geoffrey's gaze was distracted by the unfamiliar items on the floor of their apartment. He did not expect that his sister could get so much food.
"This is all you got?" Geoffrey checked the boxes of instant noodles and Roxanne's backpack, which looked full.
"Of course, do you think I told Theodore to find us food?" Roxanne rolled her eyes lazily as she heard Geoffrey's stupid remark.
Geoffrey only grimaced when he heard Roxanne's remark; he was pretty amazed by his sister's sacrifice of bringing home their food stock for the past few days.
"Now it's your job to bring this in; I'm already too tired." Roxanne finally got up to go inside the apartment. She needed to shower and rest now.
Before Geoffrey could argue, he saw Roxanne talking again, this time to Theodore.
"Thank you for your help this time," Roxanne said, expressing her gratitude to Theodore.
"No problem. You can knock on my apartment if you need anything," Theodore replied casually.
After that, Theodore said goodbye to the two siblings and went inside his apartment. He was also tired at the moment.
. . .
Theodore entered the sacred dimension while carrying his backpack to check what he had gotten from today's trip.
"It turns out I took a lot of stuff earlier, even though I didn't intend to take this much." Theodore began to unpack his backpack.
You could see a large pile of various snacks in front of Theodore right now, and there were even some scattered around his dimension because he threw them directly into the sacred dimension when he got them.
In addition, while in the supermarket, Theodore picked up items such as butter, sugar, salt, pepper, and several other spices that he saw while walking around the store.
Theodore was delighted with his loot today; for the foreseeable future, he wouldn't have to worry about his stock of snacks.
After that, Theodore placed the loot on one of the shelves he used to store his stockpiled goods.
Seeing that his belongings were in order, Theodore continued his meditation.
After being told by the previous system about this meditation, Theodore also entered the sacred dimension of meditation every day.
Today, Theodore's activities are particularly busy. He has also fought with many zombies, so his energy is entirely drained. Therefore, he needs meditation help to restore his lost energy.
Theodore sat on a large rock in the middle of the sacred dimension and sat on the top of the rock, which fortunately was flat, so he could sit there and meditate.
Slowly, Theodore sat cross-legged on the rock and began to close his eyes to start his meditation.
It didn't take much time for Theodore to empty his mind and enter a state of calm and focus.
It had been several days since Theodore had meditated, and he began to feel his body absorbing the natural energy in this sacred dimension.
The energy circulated in his body, and he could feel it filling it and making his mind more transparent.
At first, Theodore thought that the time he spent in meditation was only a short time, but when he opened his eyes again, he realized that he had spent about 2 hours.
"I'm still surprised by this fact. How come I didn't feel that long while meditating," Theodore muttered, looking at his hands, which somehow looked brighter.
[That's because the host is focusing on meditation, so it doesn't feel like time is passing]
Theodore was a little surprised when he heard the system's reply; he did not expect that the system would answer his confusion.
"Then is that a good thing?" Given that Theodore did not know anything about meditation, he did not know anything about meditation.
[Of course, it's a good thing. So the host can maximize the effect of the meditation]
"Thank goodness, then. Don't you have anything for me this time, system?" After he could do nothing, Theodore became quite bored.
This system usually didn't let him relax, so Theodore took the initiative to ask the system about this.
[For now, there is nothing. The system advises the host to continue meditating; when the host reaches level 5, there will be changes to the sacred dimension]
"Can I level up just by meditating?" Hearing the system's words, Theodore became curious because the system said that he could level up only with meditation.
[You can, but the experience the host gets will not be as much as when killing zombies. It will take a long time to level up if the host only relies on the experience from doing meditation]
Theodore rolled his eyes. If it was like that, he still had to kill zombies to get exp to level up, but at least his meditation was not in vain because he still got exp.
