Entering the Dungeon / Quest

Sukuna was walking to his class after about 2 weeks and a few days, because of his training and him needing more sleep due to [Sloth], he hasn't been attending classes, well, not like he needs to, the old guy in his body was a full-on NERD, so he basically has all the knowledge taught in the school.

He was being stared at by almost everyone as he walked to his classroom.

'I completely destroyed the 4th rank and disappeared right after, ah, how enigmatic I might seem right now' thought Sukuna as he leisurely walks into the classroom.

As he sat down in his allotted seat, his seatmate, Johan 'Yeah I know, very coincidental' asked with a bit of worry and amusement in his voice, "Are you . . . okay?"

"Of course, what makes you think I'm not" asked Sukuna nonchalantly .

"Well . . . you know, the . . . blood on your clothes and face"

"I forgot to change it, damn"

1 Month after the classes started

"As you all have been informed beforehand, we will be doing a dungeon dive today, we have a few dungeon gates in the field today, they are all E-Rank or D-Rank" said the teacher as he read the report in his hand.

"All of you have agreed to participate, but worry not, you all will be followed by an instructor into the dungeon, who will ensure your safety, but he will not act unless your life is in danger, so don't be too relaxed."

"Now, decide on your teams of 5 and come to the ground together, I'll be waiting"

The teacher then walked out of the room.

'I should approach the Main Character team, they need only one more person and I remembered a little while ago, this dungeon had a secret room called 'The Alter of . . . something' I don't remember honestly but I think it was important, if it increases my basic stats, then it'll be great, if not then increasing Cursed Energy Proficiency is just fine.'

"Hey, Sukuna, um...wanna join us?" asked Johan.

Ryogaku and Alexia nodded in agreement while Anny made a 'hmm' sound.

"Sure, but I have my plans, I believe you four are more than enough for a D-Rank dungeon, so I'll not be helping too much" Sukuna said as he stood up and walked out of the classroom towards the ground.

The four in question were hesitant, but soon, their expressions changed into one of determination.

'He just complimented us . . . I think', thought all four as they followed Sukuna.

On The Ground

"You five are the first to come, and probably the most overpowered team I've seen, I bet you all would beat second-years if you tried" Said Mean as he sat on a chair in the shade of a tree. "Now, choose the gate you want to go in, and I'll start your timer, Kenny will go in with you"

"Ya'll better try not to die in there, I hate babysittin' brats like ya", said Kenny, whose face was divided, half was black and half was white.

"We're going in that one", said Sukuna pointing at a D-Rank Gate second from the right side.

"A D-Rank huh, I see you all are confident, so any reason to choose that one specifically, there are other D-Ranks too, some are assumed to be stronger than the one you chose" asked Mean as he raised an eyebrow.

"The reason huh . . ." said Sukuna as a grin formed on his face, "You'll know"

Mean was intrigued but didn't ask anything more, he led the team to the gate and let them in with an exaggerated wave.

The MCs went in, at the last Sukuna went in as he was grinning and threw a glance to Mean before entering.

Just as Kenny was about to enter the dungeon, he was pushed back and the gate's color turned from blue to red.

"What's happening!?" shouted Mean as he called for help and the Principal.

"It's a red gate, but a D-Rank dungeon cannot form a red gate, it has to be higher than D-Rank then"

"Was it ranked wrongly then?", asked the principal as he came flying in, literally. His voice was calm, but a hint of anxiousness was heard in them

"No sir, we double checked the ranking with the devices"

"So its Magic Power was somehow hidden, or it grew into a higher rank gate in the time between when it was checked and right now" said the Principal

"Check the ranking of the gate right now!" said Mean

"Bring the measuring devices and mana stones!"

There was chaos everywhere as a few workers rushed in with the measuring devices and started to record the mana output coming from the gate.

Suddenly, the worker checking the device froze and sweat appeared on his forehead.

The principal was nervous and asked impatiently, "What's the rank?"

The worker said in a quiet voice, "It's . . .

'Man finally I can level up my Reversed Cursed Techniques, and killing monsters also gives EXP, so I can increase my Cursed Energy Proficiency as well, this is just a leveling farm waiting to be sucked dry'

"We should be careful" said Ryogaku in a serious tone

"The mana concentration is really high, higher than any D-Rank gates I Entered for training before, so I agree with Ryogaku" said Anny as Alexia nodded, indicating that she believed the same.

This time even Johan, who usually rushed in at any time, was serious and alert.

'Man look how scared they are, but it's nothing for me, I can one-shot D-Ranks and kill the C-Rank boss in a few hits, maybe even one shot it'
